Random Headcanon: Davenport

This is my baseless speculation about the pony Davenport.
My headcanon is that one of his parents sold quills, the other sofas. Whether dealing with indecision or both parents trying to get him to follow in their footsteps or whatever, he couldn't choose which business to run when he grows up. He had an epiphany about combining the two into one store and subsequently got his cutie mark. The whole experience would have brought that family closer together than ever.
