Random Headcanon: Blueblood's royal ancestry

An idea occurred to me that since the unicorn aristocracy, including King Bullion and Princess Platinum, did not lose their positions when the alicorns began their reign, I speculated about what happened between then and now. It's very likely that at some point the alicorn sisters became the adoptive aunts of a unicorn royal heir. Faust said Blueblood was a roughly 52 times removed nephew on Celestia's and Luna's mother's side, so if we obey word of Faust maybe Platinum became an adoptive sister. Information on said mother would help, but we're already in headcanon territory anyway. So in summary, what they did with Cadance was first done with Platinum's foal, allowing the unicorns to keep their royal family all the way into the present, 52 generations later. Blueblood being the direct descendant of Platinum isn't even that much of a stretch the more you think about it.
