First, Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Belated New Year's to everyone. And Belated Hanukkah and Kwanzaa if you celebrate those too. And Happy Birthday if you were born between December 21st and January 20th.
I have been spending the winter at my grandparents' house, and as nice as they are they have no internet. So I disappeared from virtual reality for a month, which is like 3 years in internet time.
I did have the next chapter of Of Gods and Men completed, but I lost the last five or so paragraphs because I didn't save them before leaving the airport's wifi zone. I'll have to rewrite them, which is a pain, but manageable. Expect the chapter out soon. I expect to finish writing it today, and get it to my prereader.
About 12 notifications were purged. I'll check my email to see what I missed. Plane to JFK is boarding now, I've got to go.
