The new chapter of My Little Poem is up and published! This is something to celebrate! A brand new chapter!
After four-and-a-half months....
Ehh, I'm sure other folks have it worse with their stories 
I've been busy getting ready to graduate with my BSE in Mechanical Engineering! I'm gonna graduate at the end of this Spring semester. I am more than ready to leave school for good and settle into a steady job somewhere! I've been keeping occasional tabs on things going on in FimFiction land, though I haven't had the chance to do anything more proactive than write a few words or so for this new chapter. In fact, things have been remarkably boring. I wonder if it is the calm before the storm.... I guess I'll find out 
I have thought about buckling down and getting a dedicated editor or proofreader. However, considering the glacial pace of my output, I think it would do willing individuals a disservice. Perhaps they can go through what I've already published, but then what? It could be another four or five months before I end up writing another chapter.
And I keep getting distracted by Mystery Skulls.

.... The reason I wrote a lot of words for this video and not for my story is because I have more time to think about other things than about writing. I would love to write all the time, but if my brain doesn't cooperate, then I'd just be miserable. That miserable feeling will likely make my output worse, even if it somehow makes it speed up somewhat. Besides, that animated video is THAT DAMN GOOD. I rarely use hyperbole, even in a comedic sense, on this blog, but I am using it to impress upon you all that I loved it that much.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my fictional AND my critical thoughts.

( although setting such nasty cliffhangers for so long is against Geneva conventions ;)

In any case, what did you think of the new chapter? I hemmed and hawed about the inclusion of certain elements, and I'm curious what you think of it.
