For those of you who actually read these things, I'd like to first apologize for being dead for such a ridiculously long time.
Right. In case you haven't noticed, I've decided to rewrite Downed and Daring as a completely different story. Well, completely different save for the premise: man survives plane crash, meets Daring Do, adventures happen. The reason that I'm doing this is that I'm really disappointed in how my previous attempt turned out. I started writing it in hopes of proving that maybe I actually could write a story right, and keep going until the end. It didn't quite turn out that way. Instead, it turned out that I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
So I've decided to rewrite the whole thing, to start over from scratch, with one key difference in my approach. Namely: I'm actually planning the story out this time.
That's right, I'm actually sitting down and thinking to myself, "Now what's going to actually happen in this story? What kind of ending do I want?" As opposed to last time where I basically just sat down and started typing whatever the hay I felt like typing. It mostly consisted of the phrase "wut iz plot.?" written over and over again.
Yup. So I'm hoping that maybe this time around I can make something worth someone's time. Not that I have super high hopes for it or anything, I just want to be able to make something that someone could feasibly enjoy reading.
