Brony Con 2012 and the Weekend! · 3:21am Jun 30th, 2012
Well, I won't really get to writting till tomorrow evening, but Saturday Night's are when my creativity is at its peak during the weekend. Then I usually ride the waves of inspiration through Sunday until I have to go back to work.
My slight loss of time tomorrow will be due to a trip with my best friend to Brony Con 2012 in Secaucus, NJ. I'm not sure what all to expect, but I suspect it will be fun. I'm looking forward to meeting the guests that will be there: FIM series creator Lauren Faust, John De Lancie - the voice of Discord, Tara Strong - voice of Twilight, Nicole Oliver - voices of Celestia & Cheerilee, Cathy Weseluck - voices of Spike and Mayor Mare, Andrea Libman - voices of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie! It'll be interesting to meet them and see what they are like.
But even more than meeting the guests, I'm looking forward to meeting fellow fans, hopefully making friends, and checking out all the various merchandise that will be for sale there. It should be interesting to say the least. Who'd have thought there would be a convention themed for Bronies based of a show originally targeted at young girls. The irony is hilarious!
