    Meaning of Kuyashii

"Kuyashii is that feeling after failure. Not that downtrodden feeling of being beaten and defeated, no. It's that feeling when you're dropped from the team at the last minute. It's what makes you slam your fist at the turf when you've missed a sitter. It's what makes grown men cry on the pitch after losing at the Champions League or World Cup finals. So close, could have done better. It's that

    Snippet from the PGMH sequel

A crash, followed by a roar. Someone was struggling. There was a dull thunk, and the solid smack of somebody hitting the floor. She looked toward the tiny window, thin as her horn near the top of the door, but couldn’t see anything.

    Never Too Late

As promised, my year-end blog post on the status of the PGMH sequel!

I'm so thankful for the likes and views it has received thus far. If you enjoyed the read, I can honestly say that I consider us friends. This has been one of the most personal bits of writing I've completed thus far, and I'm blown away that others find it worth their time. Thank you!

Thank you!

The PGMH sequel is still gelling, as I work out the timeline and core themes that I will be working with. As I hinted at the end of the first story, the Equestria Girls will play a big part in the sequel. For every pony, there is a human counterpart, and vice versa.

Behind the scenes I refer to the two-part series as the Pony Avengers. But, it would be a shame if I simply crammed characters in there for the sake of their appearance, and so the daunting task begins of providing every familiar face with a compelling role to play in retaking Equestria. We haven't seen the last of Gilda, nor will the Crystal Empire remain locked in a vaguely defined siege with Tirek and the Changelings. The first story was always about Max's personal journey. The sequel will scale up significantly.

I plan on writing at least half of it before chapters start to go up here, with a well-polished outline for the rest of the story. It won't be soon.

But I hope to create something that will be worth the wait. :twilightblush:
