As the title says, the new chapter is off to the editor. So perhaps in a day or two I'll have it back and ready to post.

    Scattered Achievements

Well, as any writer could say, "I have written this year!" But unlike writers that can or do focus on 1 single story, I am sort of more scatter brained there. While yes, I have written quite a bit, but no, it wasn't so focused on anything in peticular.

    Been trying...

Been trying to get a new chapter down... but things keep getting in the way, art, car repairs, I'm not motivated when I have time, I realized that I haven't been lazy enough... needless to say the list of things keeping me from writing is greater than writing.

Story/Chapter length? · 4:53pm Dec 19th, 2014

I try my best to keep the chapter I write even, as far as the word count goes. Anypony that takes a look at what I have written notices that, on average, I tend to post 6,500 word count length chapters. A look into other authors and on an average as a whole, they tend to run roughly at 3,000 words per chapter.

The question, and the reason I post this, is this:
Are my chapters too long?

Personally the stories I read go one of two ways.

1.) I'm hesitant about reading it, not knowing if it will be a waste of time, or uninteresting. The new/unread stories that have roughly 3,000 words per chapter make it more likely that I will read it and new/unread stories with over 5,000 words tend to scare me off.

2.) Stories that I know I will love, I want more of. I see a 2,500 word chapter and my heart sinks... I want more. I want those stories to be more than 6,000 words per chapter I love them that much.
