    2018 Resolution

A few hours early, but I figured I would write this while I have some free time instead of squeezing it in when I don't.

    Holiday Story Dec 2016

2 years ago today, I wrote a story called Cold Outside. It didn't get much reception, but I still read it sometimes for the feels. I was looking at it again, seeing as the holidays were coming up, and I wanted to write a follow up part. Last year I wrote some human holiday thing that didn't end up very well. I wanted to delete that story because it didn't feel like a story. I hadn't, mostly

Story Updates 12/1 · 2:55am Dec 2nd, 2014

So I went to Equestria again and I saw my old editor (Went on vacation, had some time to talk to him).
Like what usually happens, I spent a lot of time reading. I didn't bring enough to read, surprisingly, so I decided to work on some of my unfinished stories. This story won't be attached to any particular story, because it covers all of them.

When I say work on stories, I actually mean think of ideas and possibilities. I wasn't close to a Word Document to actually write them down. I haven't been updating much, mostly because before I left I started focusing on the revisions of Equilibrium, and some parts of it were getting on my nerves. (I actually finished a chapter of revision before I realized that I changed some of the most important parts and had to start over.)

About the editor thing, he hasn't started his own HiE fic he was planning, and I have no real motivation if he doesn't make it. That being said, it's going to be put in the back of my story list and something else is going to be taking its spot in priority. It's not gone, but I won't be thinking about it much.

I thought I'd split up the rest of this because I'm trying to be more organized.

To Find Equilibrium-
The revisions aren't coming along like I wanted them to, but I think after I make it through chapter 5 I'll be able to move along faster. Until then, I've dedicated myself to re-reading every chapter I've written already to get myself back in the spirit of things. No matter how much I know the story needs a revision, reading my past work is embarrassing, as well as refreshing and it takes some motivation to work on it again. Motivation that I'll explain at the TL;DR at the end.

What a Mask Shows-
Yes, I'm going to update it some more. This story had the least development over the vacation, but it was also the most important one I need finished for a particular reason I'll explain another time. The only problem I have with the story so far is that I don't have a lot of my notes on it organized, so I have to scroll down my long notepads to find the information I want. Again, not the highest priority, but definitely the one that's on my mind the most.

Cracks in Friendship-
Sorry about this one. I forgot about this story the entire time and haven't worked on it at all since release. The second chapter had a flaw I was going to fix but ended but making it worse. I'm not putting this on hiatus, but I'm definitely not going to put too much attention on it. However, the end of this blog might give some hope to those that want to see this particular story continue.

Others-
That's right, I currently have a long list of stories behind these, ranging from story ideas to actual stories on Fimfiction that I haven't submitted. The reason for this is that those stories were written late at night or I wanted them to be looked over at another time. I'm trying to limit the amount of incomplete stories I have on the site, so when one finishes I'll release the others. I don't work on them too much, but I do spend time on each individual one. Just know that of these stories, I have high hopes for a particular one... let's just say that the Contracted story line has never left my mind... In fact, I think that the next section will explain everything.

The Organization-
This is the story I'll be releasing in the near future, possibly when What a Mask Shows, ends. I've decided to merge a few story ideas I had to make the story slightly longer and give it some more depth. This way I can release it faster and be more convinced that people will understand what is going on. This story has been in the works since Contracted ended, but in idea. I have only written one chapter of it, and the rest are sitting in notepads in scraps and pieces I'll put together. I'm excited to see how it turns out, but I'll need to trudge through the wait until I can start posting.

TL;DR
I'm giving the older stories priority in my to do list but I'll still work on all of them. To make sure I work on them all, I'm giving myself a 1k minimum word limit each day.

1k a day means I'll work on each story eventually, cause I have a lot to choose from. Btw, this is my 1k for the day... well close enough.

That's all,
Thanks for Reading!
