Fuck fuck FUCK! 
That's the screen of my Laptop. The charger cable got wrapped up around my leg and the whole thing dropped down to the floor when I rose up from my chair.
Unfortunately this means that I can't write for now. I don't have a tablet and writing with my old Samsung takes too much effort for it to be profitable. I will take the computer to a repair store tomorrow, but I don't know how long it will take for them to repair it (and more importantly, how much it will cost).
I am very sorry about this everybody... I was just about to get the 27. chapter done when this happened. I hope that it won't take them too long to fix that screen, so I can get back to writing more for you guys/gals.

Yeah, I noticed it too. I have to fix that right away. Anyway, the whole screen is cracked in the middle.
2624889 Don't have an external monitor you can plug-in? That'd be the first thing I'd do. Besides, getting that screen replaced might actually cost more than getting said monitor if you don't have one already. Just throwing ideas out there.

I'm rummaging trough my stuff because I think that I have a small 10" screen somewhere. Can't remember where I got that from but I think I have it somewhere. There's other opinion too now that I think about it. I can connect the laptop to my television with a HDMI cable. I will probably do just that.
Save all your data to an USB or external HDD before you take it to a repair shop. I kinda expect that replacing it will turn out to be cheaper than repairing,

Uh, Ive taken an A+ class and am working towards the certifaction for it. with that it might actually be cheaper to buy a new one and have everything moved over.
Hey, no problem! Just take your time and get back to writing when you can. Your story is amazing!! To me it's up in my favorites with "Fallout Equestria", "Gentle Red",and the "Celestia code".
New laptop screen is 60-120 euro, assuming the chassis isn't broken. Labour cost depends on model. All in all a lot less than a new laptop.
If your local shop asks too much you can always order a screen from ebay or something and look up some tutorials on youtube.
Either way, good luck getting something working!

The chassis isn't broken, so I have high hopes about the price of the repair works.
Which is why I'm happy my MacBook has a magnetic charge cable and is not prone to that kind of accident.
But it's a bummer, definitely.
