    Winter storm

Any of my other southern bronies singing winter wrap up with ice in the bathtub and the oven running to try to warm the house up enough to open the door. Needless to say, looks like I get a staycation from work.

    Update Mid Crisis

It feels like every drive is Sunday at one in the morning. Kinda feels funny, eight months ago, I had only just gotten my license. Now I drive a borrowed car with a letter from work taped to my dash stating the fact I am an essential worker.

    Update (Nov 11)

Kish, it's been a long time since the last time I checked in. Haven't had much time to. But since today I don't have the response time for gaming, the mental faculties for writing... and most definitely the lung power to do anything physical... I figured I might as well catch you guys up.

In short, I'm down with the flu.

Some of my art. · 12:36am Nov 28th, 2014

A lot of you have been very encouraging in my art so today I did a bit of sketching while I hid from the crowd of people that is formally known as my family. (I have a LOT of relatives... Apple family reunion comes close but not quite as big as my family is when we are all there)

Enjoy...

This image I drew about a week before I fell. This is what I USED to be able to do. And if I try can sometimes approach.

This is supposed to be Dad, Lighting Feather.

My cousins walked in during my art time today and decided to start challenging me to draw this that and the other. They started pointing and asking. Steeples aren't hard so I decided to grant that request.

More various items they asked me to draw.... I backed out on the car... I just ain't that brave yet, nor interested.

My first attempt of a whistle.

This one isn't done yet, but is one I have been working on for about a year. It is missing the slacker sleeping under the tree.

This one is finished. The thing at the bottom is SUPPOSED to be a stream.

This is supposed to be a decorated bowling pin wearing a hat... I do not know what I was thinking... Oh yeah... I was designing a dress.... Don't ask how it turned into that.

This one is a family favorite. I did about three... maybe four years ago. I don't know. This is supposed to be my Mother's Father, Papaw Kumquat... He even laughed at how badly it failed at capturing him. I have to tell people for them to even guess. Oh well, I tried.

2620094 Thank you, I thought you guys would.

2620103 Actually I never got around to dessert. I... don't handle sugar very well.... My Thanksgiving like most I spent hiding in a corner trying to hide from the crowd that is known as my family. I have a few energy zappers in my family and... *SIGH* Good food, but I am thankful that it is over. I can't wait till Saturday when we have the other, smaller side of the family thanksgiving. I hope it is a nice warm day. I am looking forward to my yearly sketching on the bridge. (The Stream image I drew sitting on that bridge)

2620145 Yes, just something that I do that helps me feel more centered. That bridge was built by a collage student my Grandfather taught for a engineering project. It is VERY steep. But I have always loved just going out there whenever I am at their house and just watching the water slip under it. The cars rush by.... Remembering the ol' times when my friends would come over and we would play 3 billy goats gruff.... and other stories that involved bridges.

2620141 LOL... I have a LOT of bad apples... or almost rotten ones so... yeah. I also have some pretty neat realitaves. Like my Aunt who owns a buisness. Then I have three who are considered Hero in my town for giving their lives to protect another. But yeah. I am the 9th gen to grow up in this town so I am related to one out of every 9 people you meet! At least I know them! And this ain't a small town neither. I am just glad I don't meet with them ALL for thanksgiving.

2620261 I would DIE in the city. I feel absolutely TRAPPED if I am on less than 2 acers of space I can explore and roam.

2620283 Yeah and I bet that there are always other people around too. I like my privacy to rant at the trees and not get odd looks.

2620338 At least you have someplace.

That bowling pin is looking Fabulous!:pinkiehappy:

2620364 Now you were the one I had in mind when I tripped over it when flipping through my sketching journal! I am glad you like it.

2620346 Oh that's just work! JK. :rainbowlaugh: When you grow up on a farm... media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/32/5d/f5/325df5569db47e9583bb66660ec01583.jpg ... This is what it feels like. :rainbowlaugh:

2620384 I was a goat herd for... nine years?... four through 13... A long time. My right leg has issues because I decided to fight the Billy once because I was tired of being knocked down and trampled every time I was late. He won that battle. But I eventually won the war. Man that was a tasty thanksgiving dinner. MMMMMM A nanny actually cracked my right knee one day because I neglected to get out of the way of a dispute. Most of the time being a goat herd is wonderful. But there are always those incidents.

2620406 That's life! :rainbowlaugh: But yeah I didn't get around very well for a while. :scootangel: Unless it is gunna rain or I THINK about it I never even notice any more.

2621005 I have only ever broken that knee and then I cracked my left elbow when I fainted. Other than that, I have never broken any other bones. Which is pretty amazing. When I was your age I was KNOWN for falling down stairs. I did almost.... three to four times a week. On really clumsy days I did fifteen or sixteen times.

2621120 Awquard preteen stage. LOL
