Thanksgiving

We're supposed to be thankful today, so I figured I'd write something for you all. (aside from the chapters :P )

Pony was something that saved me from depression, cynicism, and just dark days. It's been two years, and I never would have thought I'd be writing on a fan fiction site devoted to a little girl's cartoon.

I'm not a popular author. Maybe someday I will be, maybe not. Doesn't really matter. What matters is that some of you have decided to spend time reading my stuff, and I'm thankful for that. The characters of CotM, the Starlight one shot, and the other stories I have been working on. It feels good knowing some people enjoy them. So thanks for that.

But this is a two way street, right? So I'm going to get some writing done tonight, and you can look for new stories and chapters coming soon.

I can't even begin to tell you just how true these words ring for me. I probably never would have started writing again...not that I'm doing a whole lot of writing, now, but I digress!

And you don't really have to thank your readers. The words you write will always, always be thanks enough. Your stories help those of us in a bad funk just as much as writing them helps you, ya' know.
