    Winter storm

Any of my other southern bronies singing winter wrap up with ice in the bathtub and the oven running to try to warm the house up enough to open the door. Needless to say, looks like I get a staycation from work.

    Update Mid Crisis

It feels like every drive is Sunday at one in the morning. Kinda feels funny, eight months ago, I had only just gotten my license. Now I drive a borrowed car with a letter from work taped to my dash stating the fact I am an essential worker.

    Update (Nov 11)

Kish, it's been a long time since the last time I checked in. Haven't had much time to. But since today I don't have the response time for gaming, the mental faculties for writing... and most definitely the lung power to do anything physical... I figured I might as well catch you guys up.

In short, I'm down with the flu.

Thanksgiving Part Two: My family · 3:14pm Nov 25th, 2014

Hey folks! It's Cowgirl again. Today I am going to be telling you about my family. If you were to talk to me for any length of time these six clowns would show up in my conversation. Yes I just called myself a clown. Fact of the matter is, I am! We all are!

LOL well to begin let me tell you about my Dad.

Dad is a Basketball Ref/Restaurant Manager/Radio Preacher. (Blog Talk) His Pony name Is Lightning Feather, And he believes in listening. I am going to tell you that many of my blog and discussion endings did come from him. "I'll see you here there or, In the air." Is the one he uses to finish up his radio show every week. And "I'd Rarther deal with a Stupid Question than fix a stupid mistake." Is also one of his. (I have not gotten my Pony Family art done so I cannot give you a pony image) But Dad is a bright Red Pegusus with a Navy Blue and brown mane and Tail. His Cutie Mark is a whistle and a microphone.

Next we have my Mother. (Zebra Print shirt up there) My talents do NOT come from her. I do not know where they do come from but she has two left thumbs and a good head on her shoulders. Mom taught at a school until Glitter was born in Pre-K and Algebra one (Strange mix but once you meet her you will understand.) Mom's Pony name is Grace Jewel. Mom is the one who is with me almost every minuet of every day. And I get much of my out look on life from her (Including my realist attitude that turns pessimistic when I am tired.) Mom still teaches Pre-K and Kindergarden kids. My favorite saying of hers is "If you can draw better than Me, You do not belong in my class."

(D is for Dove JR Church Lesson)

Mom is amazing with craft ideas and her knowledge is endless. As a child she would often ask her family what she was good at. The response always being 'Reading and climbing Trees' Since most of the family and teachers viewed those two things as bad she has never really liked it. But her special talent is Reading! Mom's ability to read and store information is absolutely AMAZING! She can read roughly four times faster than the average person. Mom is a soft purple Unicorn with a yellow (Almost brown orange color) Mane and tail. He cutie mark is a Magnifine glass and a book.

Next we have Glittering Aristocrat my eldest sister, Or Kendra E. Ardnek. She is a Published author, about to publish her fifth book. Glitter is somewhat wild and very unpredictable. Take Pinkie's random. Dash's energy and learning style, Twilight's brains, and Rarity's Drama, And you have Glitter. Glit and I have always... Well most of the time, have been very close. She got me into writing and gave me someone to compete with to get to where I am today. She could be described as a Jack of all triads and a master of them all. She was the first person I felt safe discussing my imagination and writing with. And the one I take all my school problems too. I don't always understand what she says the first time. But eventually will get it. As far as my English is concerned, she is very strict. She will correct me in any grammar mistake despite where she finds it. In short Glitter is probably the Best Sister anyone could ever ask for. (At least for me) We have our disagreements, and I often get sick of hearing about what her characters are doing but otherwise it is wonderful. She is a Fu- Fushia... Pink colored Unicorn with Sparling Purple mane and tail. Her Cutie Mark is a Purple Quill and a scroll.

(Glitter and I)

I come next in the family, and after me comes Zap. Zap is my only brother, or bother as I often refer to him as. He really isn't that bad, very sweet as far as most boys go. He is highly intelligent, and very curious. By the time he was seven years old he had read every single electricity book in the library and can now work with it on a high-school level. (I often let him do my homework. I don't get that stuff at ALL!) He did come up with his own name himself as well as what he looks like. He is a Red Unicorn with a Yellow and orange mane and tail. His cutie mark is a kite with a key tied to the string.

Last but not least comes my baby sister, Water Jewel. WJ is very much a miniature me. I have to watch my tongue for she will repeat EVERYTHING I say, good or bad. She and Zap are almost never apart helps her do everything. She lays across him while she does her work. She tells him how to do everything and she tells him how to play. Like all of my family she is highly intelligent and has just started K and is reading. (She has been the earliest reader out of all of us with me as the latest.) Water Jewel is afraid of all animals, and water. (I do not know why she chose the name Water Jewel but she did.) She is a soft blue unicorn filly with a white and pink mane and tail. She is still to young yet for us to know what her special talent is besides making all of us smile. Her dream right now is to become a mother someday so she can put her babies to bed and tell them what to do. (I love Kindergarten kids)

And that is my immediate family. I am very thankful for each and every one of them. I would not be the girl I am today if it were not for my family.

Now I am going to tell you that Lilly's family is very different but since this is not about her she can wait till another time. (Or until she finally decides to sit down and write her book instead of telling me what to do.)

I hope you enjoyed this, and I'll see you tomorrow either Here, There, or IN the AIR!

2616027 LOL I am kind of the same way. If you noticed I was the only one Pegusus in the family. I am the only musician and artist in my family. But we are all very close. They are all very sportive of me and my interests. Mom is a bit of a worrier, but I suppose that comes with the fact that she has read a book a day since she was six years old.

2616041 LOL Sounds like Glitter and I. I have NO talents that I have not had to strive and work hard to develop. Glitter is the exact opposite. Everything to her just happens. What is funny though is despite the fact that she is so much more intellegent, fast, strong, tallented than I am. I am the one who is actually going somewhere in my life. Yeah Glitter is publishing her fifth book. But they are not selling that quickly because she is hardly known.

This song basiclly sums up my sister's and mine relationship. Her IQ is 135 while mine is only 115. I know that is considered high. But I have always competed to be just a bit better than her and always felt just a bit left out. Leading projects, and working with people has been one of the few things I can do that she can't. She has often wished for my boldness. And I have always wished for her brains and strength.

Your grammar wise elder sister has come to inform you that I was not born in Pre-K and Algebra, as nice as it would be to say. Also, neither am I a master of all triads, but of trades. (And even then, that stretches it, for you know I can never seem to get a sewing machine to behave.) And I'm fuchsia, though I can understand your trouble there, since it takes even me a few tries to remember which order the chs goes.

But it was a lovely post, dear sister, and you said some lovely things about us. I'm thankful for you as well.
