    Winter storm

Any of my other southern bronies singing winter wrap up with ice in the bathtub and the oven running to try to warm the house up enough to open the door. Needless to say, looks like I get a staycation from work.

    Update Mid Crisis

It feels like every drive is Sunday at one in the morning. Kinda feels funny, eight months ago, I had only just gotten my license. Now I drive a borrowed car with a letter from work taped to my dash stating the fact I am an essential worker.

    Update (Nov 11)

Kish, it's been a long time since the last time I checked in. Haven't had much time to. But since today I don't have the response time for gaming, the mental faculties for writing... and most definitely the lung power to do anything physical... I figured I might as well catch you guys up.

In short, I'm down with the flu.

Thanksgiving part one. · 4:27pm Nov 24th, 2014

Hello everyone This is Cowgirl. This week I am going to share with you some moments in my life that have made me who I am today. Today I am going to start with my faith. (Lilly has asked for a spot or two this week but since I'll be pretty busy I don't know if I'll allow her to have the keyboard....)

I am a born again, Bible believing, Christian. This time of year I consider my favorite in my church. My church, (Grace Brethren) Is kind of different than most churches. First of all, our church centers around creating disciples and being missionaries where ever we are, where ever we go. That does not mean that we are constantly envanglizing and leading others to Christ, but rather we are ministering to everyone. Believers and not. We believe that we should help one another grow in their faith and walk with the Lord.

What is probably the most different in my church is our Communion. My church does not do your normal bread and cup and that is it type of communion. We do a three fold Communion and it is an hour and a half ordeal. We sing songs, test our memories, share how the Lord has blessed and used us this year, and most importantly, we relive that last night.

We begin with a song and an introduction to the evening turning to John chapter 13. Starting in verse four where Jesus gets up, wraps a towel about his waist and begins to wash the disciples feet. We do not get what he is doing till verse seven where Peter begins protesting and Jesus explains that if he did not wash his feet, he would have no part of him. We continue down reading how Peter then goes overboard saying 'just wash all of me then' (Basically) And Jesus has to calm him down and explain that to be clean he needed to only wash his feet.

We then leave the main room segregating ourselves and wash one another feet. Yes My church practices foot washing. Why! This is our way of reminding ourselves first that we are called to be different, And to serve others. We sing songs of praise and thanksgiving.

Once done we return to the main room where we gather together to eat a meal that we call a love feast. This is a reminder that we are supposed to be one in the spirit. Since I am sure everyone has been to a pot luck I won't go into it. Because that is kind of what it is like. We gather around doing more singing, talking, and sharing.

The final part of our Service is the part I am sure all of you are familiar with and would not be Communion without. The Bread and cup. As a reminder of what he has done, and looking forward to when we all share it together in heaven.

We finally sing a song together before we depart.

And this to me is the most special thing in my spiritual life. The harmony and love I feel during this time cannot be explained in words. I have partaken in a normal one but it is never quite the same.

Well I'll see you all tomorrow with another snippet of thanksgiving in my life. I'll see you then, either here, there, or In the air!
