Not sure how to fix my writing... · 5:24am Nov 22nd, 2014
I honestly don't know what it is. I wake up, take my medicine, feed the dogs, have a bowl of cereal, and ride my bike to school every weekday morning. I can never focus during class and often find myself writing fanfiction throughout my entire seventh block class. I often focus more on fanfiction than I do on schoolwork. I can never find motivation to do my schoolwork anymore. My energy is lacking and my thoughts are cloudy. I don't know if it's the medication I'm taking or what. (I'm taking citalopram and buspirone). But I still lack adequate description and grammar in a lot of my writing. I have difficulty describing a setting and cleanly transitioning from one setting to another. I take dozens of melatonin every night for recreation and to help with my insomnia and vivid dreaming. Is my medication the issue? I'm lost.
We all feel like that sometimes.
I mean, reading your stories, (I'm assuming they're somewhat like your life) you have it fairly rough.
Just...
If you don't need the meds, don't take them.
To calm your mind, take a walk in a natural area and just sit for a while.
To calm your soul, run outside on a rainy day until your shirt gets soaked through and then go inside and curl up with a book.
Nature is better for you then you may know.
Stay strong!
2609580 Thank You! Well, I do read books other than fanfiction quite a bit. I will try and relax, I admit a lot of it is because I am very tense and I've always had a hard time relaxing and I'm always stressed. My blood pressure has been sky-high most days and I need to work some physical activity into my schedule.
you can find a proofreader to help you with grammar, and it also helps if you step back from your work for a week or two and then try and find all the problems with it.
also, you may just need a break from fan fiction. don't get to obsessed with it
2610396 Okay. I don't see the motivation at this point. I think I need to take a break for a little while.
