TOP 5: Personal Favorite Animated Villains - Part 1 · 7:29am Nov 21st, 2014

Wow, my first...countdown...thingie! Yay me! :pinkiehappy: *Ahem* Moving on...I have seen other countdowns done before like this, each depicting a villain from a game, novel, television series and film, with the usual description of why they are favorite and so-on and so-forth. Yes, I know - I am going to be doing the same exact thing with this though only doing 5 and doing in five parts...Makes it easier for me and more fun. But to note, don't expect to find a Scar, Lord Shen, or one of the usual finds in here - I still love them but most everyone will know who they are, what they did in their respective property and why they are favored. Also to note, this isn't necessary a list to say 'this one is better than this one who's better than this one, blah-blah-blah'...This will just 5 baddies who have caught my attention and know how to do so. So please, sit back and relax as I count down my top 5 personal cartoon baddies! Oh...By the way...No spoilers here, so all is good~

#5: Taurus Bulba (Origin: Darkwing Duck by Disney Animation; 1st Appearance: "Darkly Dawns the Duck Part 1 and 2")

Let me say this, I loved Darkwing Duck when it was first broadcasted on my television set - especially when it came on during the afternoons when I got home from school and wanted to rot my brain out relax and enjoy some good ol' cartoons. The show, if you don't know, is about a superhero duck who fights crime and evil with an array of gadgets and tools...Like Batman! ...If Batman had an inflated ego and always wanted to be in the spotlight. Yeah, the character DW was a selfish jerk but he was also funny and did care so it wasn't hard for us to keep rooting for him. And the baddies he did face were equally entertaining and silly though with great backstories to keep them fun. But if there was ONE baddie I would say that was the GREATEST that Darkwing had ever faced in his career of crime-fighting, it would be his FIRST supervillian - Taurus Bulba. A ruthless bovine with a no-nonsense attitude (and voice with Russian accent provided by Tim Curry), Taurus managed to continue his criminal operations behind prison bars, mind you, for a sentence of 99 years! 99 LOOOOOONG years...! How didn't the warden even figure that out?! Oh right, he seemed like a buffoon...*cough-cough* If that doesn't tell you something about the guy, then his personality will. Unlike most of the foes DW faced during the running of the series (with the exception of Negaduck), Taurus was a serious mastermind with a sadistic streak who didn't tolerate nonsense from those under him and knew what he wanted (though he did have a few comedic moments, being a baddie in a kids show). With this in mind, he easily can be likened to that of Marvel's Kingpin - a criminal thinker with lots of power under his thumb. Why it is only number 5 on here is due to his few appearances outside the pilot but that would be going into spoiler territory. But nonetheless, Taurus Bulba is one bull you DON'T want to lock horns with.
