So after nearly a month, I've finally written the first chapter of my new story. What took me so long? Well...its actually a little bit complicated. You see, its a combination of illness, school work and priorities. But since my mindset is now a lot better, I should be writing a lot more because of it. My wonderful editor has even begun taking a look at it for me. Or in other words, he's tearing to pieces, putting it through a enormous shredder and then throwing his keyboard at me telling me what an idiot I am.
Just kidding. He's just doing his job. Which is basically what I just described to you. Unlike some other writers, I don't like to give away what I'm writing about. I usually like to keep the characters, plot, setting and any other key details under wraps until the big reveal. Of course, I feel bad about taking so long so I thought I might make it up to you all.
How am I going to do that exactly? Well, I'm not going to let you riot in the streets any longer. I'm going to give you a small early access peep at what's to come. So, without further ado I present you to a small snippet from my story. Enjoy.
Accompanying the pain in her lungs, blisters and welts began appearing on her body. Originating near her hooves, they quickly spread upward, covering her legs, meeting her underside, wrapping around to blemish her back. Sharp pain ran through her hooves, agony with every step from the fresh blisters which met the ground.
Taking a deep breath, willing the pain away as much as she could, she grit her teeth and made a run for it. Scurrying further into the forest, she tried to escape the misty miasma. Quickly as she ran, the pain escalated as the blisters on her legs began to burst, leaking a putrid green puss.
