My Little National Novel Writing Month

Dear Princess Celestia,

Today, I broke fifty thousand words on Fifteen Dinners, a fic I started writing at midnight on the 1st November. I'm not writing to you because of a lesson in writing, or friendship, or anything like that—I'm writing to you because for the last few days, I've finally been able to feel proud of something I've achieved while writing, and I felt that was something worth sharing.

I hope that, by the end of the month, I'll have finished off this fic and rounded it out to something that we can all enjoy and I can look back on with pride. But I think that no matter what happens with Fifteen Dinners now, it will always hold a special place in my heart for being the first story I've beaten NaNoWriMo with, and that's something that nothing can take away from me now.
