An Update on Not Updating (*Updated*) · 8:04am Nov 15th, 2014
Hey there all of you fantastic readers, Ulquiorra1 here again with an update on why I'm not updating.
I have completely lost my creativity and writing flow with When We Danced and I just want to apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you. I would also like to emphasize that the story is not dead. It is just taking a short nap/extensive coma and will be back whenever I can get past my writer's block.
In the meantime, I have had a (in my own opinion) great idea for a one-shot to help pass the time until I can get back on track.
I hope I will be able to get the story to you within a few days at the most to be somewhat productive, but I may lose the inspiration a few times while writing and have it drawn out until I finish it for all of you (whomever that maybe) to read.
Again, I just want to apologize for taking so long, WWD is not dead, and I will hopefully be getting something out for you to read here soon.
Without spoiling anything about the story, I will tell you that it:
Was inspired by the newest Equestria Girls movie (Don't read if you haven't watched!)
Centers around a few characters I haven't written about yet or as much
Takes place sometime after aforementioned movie
Does not relate to any of my previous stories (Independent timeline)
Thank you for taking the time to read or skip to the bottom of this! I look forward to having you read some of my other finished works! :D (*Nudge* *Nudge*)
-UPDATE-
Well this is a bit awkward but, it turns out I will not be getting this story to you all within a few days as originally planned.
As I started to write this one-shot, I realized that I was getting a lot of work done, like more than expected so I decided to check out my word count to see just how far along I was. (My writing application does not have its own word count, I know, it's terrible but I like the format)
Upon pasting my work, minus the author's note and little nonsense bits here and there, the site had tallied up over 3,300 words.
This is no longer a one-shot. I am now apparently writing a novel because I am approximately only 1/4 or 1/5 of the way into any actual plot.
There will not be chapters uploaded because that is exactly how I get caught up in hiatus and writer's block because the idea of starting a new chapter is apparently horrifying, I don't know why.
So there is the little update for any of you who actually care to know. Sorry if any hopes were raised, I'll try to work harder, but senior year is kind of important and it, unfortunately, has to come first on my priorities list.
Hopefully I'll see you all again soon with a finished product!
