Would you like to hear another story...?

Now that "I Hate Apples" is finished, I'm ready for my next story. I'm already three chapters in, and I think it's gonna be a little longer than the last one. I'm trying something new, something to stretch myself with. A story unlike the others I've written.

It's much, MUCH darker.

I thought writing something dark wouldn't be too hard, but there's a catch. You can write a story with blood and gore, but that isn't enough. There are plenty of stories (and movies, and tv shows, and... well everything) that try to be "darker and edgier," but oftentimes, those stories are just plain bad.

So yes, it's easy to write a grimdark story. It's incredibly hard to write a good grimdark story. Especially using ponies. I mean, look at 'em. They're pastel for crying out loud.

I've finished a one shot to tide ya'll over until I get the next big story finished. It should be released in the next week or so.

So buckle up, I ain't finished yet!
