Hey, looks like "Get Lost (In a Book)'s" up on Equestria Daily! Welcome, anyone who dug it enough to take a look at my other stuff. Hope ya enjoy!
Since I'm a shameless narcissist desperate for the self-validation I get from seeing that little views counter tick up, here's an overview of my other stories thus far.
"Coins and Crowns" is the idea that got me back into 'fic writing after several years of absence. I'm a big fan of Jim Butcher and noir in general, and for some reason was really taken with the idea of a down-on-his-luck earth pony gumhoof living in Fillydelphia. Despite the Dark tag, there's no explicit sex or gore there, just an old-fashioned detective story. If you take a look, I hope ya enjoy.
"A Teacher With No Class" was a result of me wanting to write Cheerilee (I'm an Education major, so I get a kick out of her) and the Cutie Mark Crusaders, but it kinda ended up about Prince Blueblood being a really, really messed up dude. A lot of people liked it and requested a sequel, which led to...
"The Prince of the Everfree Forest," which is currently ongoing. Blueblood wanders into the Everfree, meets Zecora, goes on a vision quest to find his destiny, and isn't entirely pleased with the results. I'm really getting a kick out of writing it, but it's definitely earned its Dark tag. Again, no sex or gore, but...dark. Definitely dark.
Anyway, I've got a chapter or two left of that one to finish (it's running a bit longer than I expected). And "Coins and Crowns" is still stuck in /fic/ prepreader limbo, but I've been doing some editing on my own recently and touched up a few rough spots. Congratulations on getting to EqD! I haven't read that particular one yet, but I'll put it in my read list. I'm also looking forward to your ongoing adventures of Blueblood and did you say Zecora will be coming with him? Even more awesome! Keep up the good work and I'll keep reading.
