When Maleficar, unicorns who have turned to blood magic flood the the land of Equestria, a Order is formed. In the wake of Celestia's reign , Luna has formed an Order to combat the rising threat. The Templar's. Hardened ponies, dragons, and even griffons from all over the land, trained to hunt and slay Maleficar.

A young Rainbow Dash is taken into the order after her parents were killed in an Maleficar ritual. She has sworn her life to the Order and will stand by it. But her world is thrown out of balance when she meets an Apostate ( rouge unicorns ) named Twilight Sparkle . . . .
