It is a good and noble thing to tell a good story.

    I'm still here

It's been a year since I've written anything. But being quarantined has given me some free time. I'm sure most of my followers have left but in case you're also still here a few questions.

If I gave up any of my unfinished stories for adoption would you want one?

If I wrote another chapter of something would you read it?

Its been awhile and I'm sorry this isn't an update

I know i haven't been active in a long while, but one thing I appreciate about this community is that it's a safe anonymous space and i have a small situation I'd like y'all's take on.

Promises now has an audio version

Promises was my first real story on here, it garnered enough support to let me know my writing had a plae on this website. It's not perfect but I'm still proud of it.

    Overwatch

Obvious disclosure, this blog has nothing to do with MLP. It’s not a story so it doesn’t violate site rules and it’s something I’ve felt like writing and y’all are my audience for my creative output. If  you don’t like Overwatch and/or don’t care what I have to say move along, I’ll try to have a new chapter of something soon.

    I love Overwatch.

    Signal boosting some life advice

There's a blog going around about an incident that occurred at a convention. I'm not of the convention going community so I have no voice in this. It's up to convention goers to decide what type of community they are and how to get there.

A story.

A few weeks ago I read a story, it wasn't bad, but the conflict resolution of the second half did not match the premise set up in the first half. So since I was on friendly terms with the author I asked if I could try rewriting his story, he said yes. I did some of it and then let it rest, like a good steak I think all stories are made better with a rest period. But then I got kind of bored and figured "well the first part is kind of written" so I could go ahead and post it, figuring it'd get a few upvotes and maybe I'd pick up a comment or two.

Suffice it to say that didn't quite happen. It turns out that fic is now the third most popular thing I've written.

Which brings me to Sweetie Belle: Blackjack Dealer yay!. I like this story but it is very much a backburner type project. I kinda know how it's going to end, it's just how I get there and then actually writing it that's an issue. And with the success of of my new Scootaloo story, I feel like that should take some sort of priority.

But I feel a degree of loyalty to all of you who upvoted/fav'd Sweetie Belle, so I shall ask you what you would prefer.

I would like to put this story on hiatus for a bit, and come back to it when I am inspired to give it the ending it deserves.

However, if you want, I could very quickly pound out an ending, that certainly won't be as good as it would have been, but would be an ending and then I could mark the story as complete. What say you all?

I will happily wait for the good stuff :)

Well as much as I love the Sweetie Belle story I'd say put it on the backburner for now (quality over quantity:twilightsmile:) work on that new Scootaloo story for a while.

i think you should put it on hiatus for now. As much as I like it so far, I would much prefer you giving it the ending you planned originally.

I'd rather wait for a well done ending than a rushed one

Inspiration and motivation are very fickle things. I say that if you should work on what is drawing your attention the most. Stick Blackjack on hiatus for a while, and enjoy your other projects.
