The new chapter is coming along great, I have the whole thing planned out and written on paper, now I just have to transfer it to my google drive and copy/paste it here. I probably wood (hah, lumberjack puns) have had the chapter done on my drive by tonight already but as the title of the blog suggests. Two massive trees behind my house fell over in a storm last night. I've been cutting up wood with hand saws, hacking my way through vines with pruners and chopping everything else with an incredibly dull axe.
Tomorrow will be no exception, there's still a lot of tree to be taken care of. On the bright side we bought a chainsaw and a hatchet just now so we might finish cleaning up the mess tomorrow. On top of that I'll be sharpening the new hatchet and the axe tomorrow to help speed things up even more. After I get home from school tomorrow I'll take some pictures that hopefully capture the mess that the wind storm made and I'll post them here for you all to see.
Oh, about the lumberjack pun thing. No, I am not a lumberjack, but lately I have felt more and more like one. My beard grew out (which, sadly, I had to shave off for a job interview today) and I have began wearing plaid flannel a lot more than I usually would. Add the fact that I was choppin' wood today and I feel like a genuine lumberjack novice. The best thing about it all, I get to burn all the wood. All of it! We already filled the back of my grandfathers pick up truck once and we hardly made a dent in the mess. Looks like I'll be burning wood all the way through winter this year.
Skip to 34 seconds, you know you want to :D
Well, that's enough rambling for now, I'm going to start getting some of that story in my drive now and then I'll head to bed.
Goodnight all, you're all awesome.
