Well I have both Pinkie finds a Plasma Cutter AND My Little Hedgehog: Generations out now. Both are still on their first chapters. I should answer somethings.
Relating to MLH:G, YES. IT IS THE GENERATIONS PLOT TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. There will be no Sonic areas in the story, just Pony ones. And as the description hints, I'm replacing the Classic Sonic characters with the mane 6 as they were fillies. So, in short.
3 Sonic characters.
12 ponies.
And, yes. I know there is another Generations/MLP story out there. And I say...whatever. Go read it if you want, and I won't kill you if you prefer the other one to mine, even if the plots are different.
This brings me a question. I want you guys' input for MLH:G. Obviously, there are rivals, and I want to know which minor antagonists are your favorite. (by minor, I mean not Nightmare Moon, Discord, or Queen Chrysalis)
Relating to 'PPFAPC' (just notice FAP there, god I'm immature) it will be around 2-4 chapters long. It's meant to be a short.

My favorite minor antagonist has to be Trixie.
My favorite minor antagonists are dumbbell,hoops,and score. (AKA Rainbow Dash's bullies during flight school).
Any of them will do. Although I guess my personal favorite would be Trixie.
