Well, I met my new GM today. Not only that, but I finally met Bob...Our Corporate Manager that comes in every once in a while. He is officially working with our store directly to get everything rolling now that the other four stores that are run by my bosses the Windbush's are finally going the right way. Anywho...Since he was there today with the GM, they approached me and asked to speak with my alone. At first I was concerned...I thought maybe they were gonna get pissed since I like to snag a nugget here and there, but no...I was wrong. They gave me an offer and I nearly fell out of my chair. Seems that after working at the Whiting, IN McDonald's for about 4 months they have finally seen that I can be amazing at my job. The offered me management and I took it! Finally after over two years with the McDonald's company I have finally been promoted to a Shift Manager. I start my training Monday, I get my uniforms hopefully soon, and I get my pay raise too! I just can't believe this is finally happening!!! I am so happy and so excited.
