I'm making a spike costume for fiesta Equestria and I went to the fabric store to get a pattern and hopefully some fabric for it so I took the spike I got form build a bear with me to use a reference and some woman let her little girl walk up take it when I set it down next to me so I could look through some pattern books and apparently didn't bother to ask her daughter where she got her new toy and then she just proceeded to buy her stuff and walk out the store with it I didn't see them take it but that is what the store camera showed me and what the clerk said after having some time to reflect I have come to realize although I have lost spike he can be replaced what is annoying me now tho is the mother actions in regards to this situation now some could argue that the mother is having a very busy day or overwhelmed now that is all well and good however however I was able to see and learn that when they entered the store the little girl had nothing in her hands now again I can understand if the mother was very busy however by the time they got to the car or home she should have realized that something was amiss when daughter has somehow unexplained gained a new toy in her hands that she did not previously have before leaving the house it's like she trying to teach her daughter that taking something that's not hers and she wants is okay
I really hope you get it back.
Hopefully the parent will realise, and ask the kid where they picked it up.
