Giving Up A Story (Need Advice)

So, does anyone know how to officially give control of a story to another user?

As I've mentioned previously, I have left the two groups I created and given up on the 'Shining Dash' story, at the time I promised it to another user-but, I have no idea how to 'give' the story to them.

I was working on the next chapter, but then the site update happened, a comment was made on twitter and I began to wonder why I'm wasting my time on a story that I've been working on for over a year with over one-fourth of the people reading it despising it.

Terrible references to the IDW comics, which I've begun to loather and regret ever incorporating into the story, a crappy beginning, TWO ships happening simultaneously, and a stupid title that I couldn't think of a better replacement for.

I'm afraid to ask any mods because I don't want to anger them with something I'm not entirely sure is even possible-but, I have a group member that is probably getting pretty impatient at this point because I don't know how to give them what I promised.
