Squall update 2.0 now with more squallyness · 5:09pm Oct 9th, 2014
So it's been awhile... and I haven't been keeping everyone up to date (so many people so little attention span, you know how it goes). So I figured why not give an update that few (if anyone) people want!
For starters I still have to wear a backbrace til the end of the month at least. Secondly all my old open wounds are closed and healing up and I may or may not be left with a scar where they had to cut me open. Thirdly, last Thursday I went back into the hospital and had the bullet removed and sent into evidence (don't ask about how many stitches I got, I don't know and didn't ask). Other then all of that I'm back to eating like a pig, which is a good sign.
On the other hand (or hoof if you will) there are some things I have to live with. One such thing being the fact that the muscles they cut to get inside me could tear apart again from too much strain/stress causing me to have to come back in again. Another thing is I could still have issues with my pancreas again causing me to have to come in and possibly have to have additional surgeries.
All of that aside, I've got my writing stuffs and my drawing things with me and am going to slowly try working my way back into drawing/writing, no promises. I can't do much of anything online or in the way of digital art (this laptop is junk and my desktop is back at my dads), let alone trying to watch livestreams to learn anything.
Other then all that I hope everyone has a good day and stays warm!
Aww man, I never saw the news of what happened…
There's someone at my church who fell off a roof and nearly broke his back. He's had to wear a backbrace for the past month as well. I suppose both of you are good that it wasn't the worst possible outcome.
My hopes and prayers are with you.
2521102 Here's the story if you'd like to read it. Thanks for the hopes and prayers, I'm almost done with the worst of it. Just got the brace left and maybe one surgery left.
2521299 Wow… May the recovery be speedy, my good sir!
It'd be great for you to get back to doing the things you love.
2521311 I'm looking forward to being able to take a bath again. Haven't been allowed to with the brace and open wounds.
2521345 Ah, makes sense to me. Don't want any more antibiotics than needed. xP
2521351 More like, don't need another infection. I had one, don't need the one on my back getting infected too....
2521362 Oh… That's the problem with microbes. Can't live with them; can't live without them. roundstable.com/forums/images/smilies/applejargh.gif
Thanks for the update, I have been sending positive thoughts your way!
