Okay, I've noticed that a lot of people have been complaining that they can't tell whether a story is complete or not, or whether someone is online or not. I just figured both of these things out, and I feel stupid about how obvious it was. So, in case you didn't already figure out, I'm going to do my best to explain. If a story is complete, underneath where the views and upvotes/downvotes are listed will be a green checkmark icon. If the story is incomplete there will be a yellow pencil icon, and if a story is canceled there will be a red circle-backslash icon. And if you want to know whether or not someone is online or not next to their name on their page is an icon of the silhouette of a person's head. If this icon is green, they are online. If that icon is grey, they aren't online. And if you hover over that icon for someone who isn't online then it will tell you when they were last online.
Overall, now that I've figured out those two things, I can say that I actually enjoy this update as well as the new look. If you have any more questions of things that you can't figure out, feel free to ask and I might be able to find out how to work them. No promises though.

2518605 I figured it out! It's on a computer too, and only seems to work on a computer. When you click it, it displays the authors bio, more of their stories, the groups that the story is in, and some of their blogs.

Yeah, that was my problem, too, as I was running through my Favorites List to see which ones had updated. (I'll be glad when I can figure out how to fix it so I can get my e-mail updates, too.) I was looking down at the bottom of each one to see when ones were Complete, In Progress, On Hiatus; etc.; but then I noticed the little icons that you mentioned in the upper right hand corner, and I was like, "Duh!
" So now I know.
I'm still figuring out all the changes, but they don't seem too bad or problematic and I (we) will get the hang of them in time, I'm sure.
Hey, it's like getting a new phone or comp or similar gadget and trying to get it figured out. You get it sussed out in time.
