Just to say "Thank you"

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has chosen to watch me and everyone who has favorited, liked, or commented on any of my stories. I also appreciate everyone who has taken the time even to give them a chance and read them.

I didn't even have plans to ever create an account here when I first stumbled on FIM Fiction. Within a few months I finally did so in order to thank an author who had written a story that had a big impact on me. In May I broke another self-imposed barrier and posted my first story just for the heck of it, and people liked it. Not many perhaps, but some did and that meant a lot to me. Two other one-shots followed and also went over well.

Then I started One for Luna. I'd never attempted to write anything longer than a few thousand words, so I didn't even submit the story to any groups. But others found it and shared it for me. People came and somehow it took off, before I even had a chance to fully outline it. I was amazed when it hit the Popular Stories box and spent hours refreshing the window watching the view counter because I still couldn't believe so many people liked it. And now it hit the Featured list (Honestly, the popular box meant more to me - I don't even know how the featured list works - but it was cool to see my story there).

I know I have a long way to go yet in my learning to write, but each of these landmarks have shown me that you all have faith in me. I'm going to do what I can to live up to that - it's the best way I can think to show my thanks.

I'm very glad for your success, and I do hope you continue to gain it. I think you've got a bright future ahead of you in writing, where you'll keep improving and creating even better stories. Who knows, you may even write a book!
