I feel so weird doing this. I'm not one to talk at length, so this is all new territory for me.

Right, well, two weeks in, and I'm still amazed at the response for the Animorphs Crossover. The story is flowing much easier then anything else I've written, and I think I have the lovely Samaru to thank for that. The guy is just wonderful to work with, and we mesh up really well. We have a lot of surprises in store for the tale, though saying any more would spoil it. Suffice to say, I think you're all going to like it.

Now, on to the other big news post.

The more astute of you will note that I've placed Darkness' Embrace on hiatus and have a nifty little banner on it. Am I abandoning the fic? No, I still want to tell my story and very little will stop me. What I am doing, though, is fixing what I've already written. The story is rife with Purple Prose, especially when describing somepony, the pacing is all over the place, and I'm doing my best to weed out these rather large problems and repair them. That said, you probably shouldn't expect a new chapter any time soon.

What I will ask of you, however, is help. I am only one man, after all, and I am as like to miss some things mainly because I'm so close to the story. It's hard to be truly objective to something you've worked hard on, but I do try. All in all, this is your chance to tell me about any issues with Darkness' Embrace, no matter what they are. Minor grammar issues, awkward sentence structures, characterization problems, etc. and I'll work hard to fix them as best I can.

I would ask, however, that you either PM me any problems you find or post about them here on this blog. Please don't mention them on the fic itself.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. Hope you all enjoy Animorphs, and I hope to return to writing more of Darkness' Embrace as soon as I can.
