Okay... lemme just get something out of the way here.
I love this fandom. I have always loved this fandom. I love just about everything about it. I love the fan-made material, I love my fellow bronies, and I love this fantastic show.
...but...
One thing I cannot stand is when people are intolerant of cloppers or think they are weird.
Like... why must you criticize one for something they enjoy? They're not hurting anypony. Isn't that the whole concept behind bronies anyway? To tolerate others for who they are?
TL;DR - Please don't be hatin' on the cloppers.
(besides, the cloppers are generally nicer than your average brony anyway)

As a short story writer before I was a brony I do put hints towards 'clop' in stories. Well, story atm but yea. ' Sight' if you want an example. I see it as the same thing as a regular scene, and if it comes up I just mentally alter it to a more human-esque scene. Not hard to imagine as a story writer
i haven't seen that much hate against cloppers tbh, but i agree with you. sadly the hate-everything-that-doesn't-correspond-to-my-opinions-ppl out there that actually got drawn into mlp are still their obnoxious old selves, there is always something to hate from their point of view; namely everything that they don't do. sure, because of the fandom's theme words they are a little better, but not much
