    Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Pre-Review

These are just my first impressions, not the whole review I promised. Story mode will take some time.

-Rise is awesome! Uses her microphone and unique Persona tracking and stunning abilities. I've been messing around with her and found a fun combo. Haven't had much of a chance to play with the other new characters yet, but I assume they all have their own fun, interesting fighting style.

    Chapter2 Preview

Well, here it is, one of my fav parts so far. Warning, it isn't edited yet. Hope it's fun!

Pinkie smirked, “The question is, Miss Shimmer, why are you here?” Pinkie pointed a finger at Sunset her eyes trained on hers as if she was trying to have a staring competition of death. “The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime! Do you have anything to say for yourself, Sunny? Hmm!”

    Writing update

I'm typing a bit of the next chapter and I'll see if hopefully I can overcome this writer's block. Fingers crossed and maybe the chapter will even be good!

    Really Late Weekly Blog #3

Yeah it's been awhile. Haven't really been able to write. I have writer's block and just can't get over it. If anyone has some advice it's welcome.

    Anyway, movie-wise, let's get crackin'!

    Update

Things have been going on and writing's slow. My mom got sick, I got sick, it sucks. It's not really that I have writers block, but I'm trying to piece together this next chapter slowly, but I'm not sure exactly how to tackle it either. I did come up another comedy scene, but I still need to figure out the flow of the rest. I'm half done so far, but hopefully it'll pick up soon. Also,

Weekly Blog #2 · 11:34pm Sep 3rd, 2014

It's me again! I'm back! And to my 3 or so followers, I say howdy y'all! Applejack style. Anywho, let's get down to business shall we? First off, my fav things movies, and boy did I see heap of em since my last blog. The first one was Edge Of Tomorrow, an action sci-fi thriller starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, based on the japanese novel, All You Need Is Kill. I have to say it's an extremely intelligent sci-fi flick structured like a video game, hell, even the tagline is live, die, repeat. It's fun to see how Tom Cruise's character goes from knowing nothing to being badass, to so called programming a CPU type of event, to full on co-op, and to the final stretch/boss. Basically, Cruise has to relive the same day to discover the secret to winning a war against a race of aliens who know the future by having the same ability. It's got great action, funny moments, good story, hell even a 'bad ending' type moment. It's the ultimate video-game movie not based on video-game. I give it a 9/10. Only thing I didn't like was Emily Blunt, she didn't serve much purpose and isn't very attractive. Next up is the best animated film I've seen since The Lion King, Wreck-It Ralph, and Frozen, and here's the kicker it's not by Disney! How To Train Your Dragon 2 was perfect in every way. World-building, characters, laughs, action, rising to the challenge underdog style. It was a beautiful story with jaw-dropping animation. Did I mention the action? For an animated flick, the last 45 minutes of this flick was adrenaline fueled action. I give this one a 10/10. Last but for sure least, Heavenly Sword, based on the game of the same name. It was a computer animated direct to video film, I watched last night. I'd say this was my least fav of the three. It was okay. The adaption of it seemed a bit off with the game. The battles were just okay. The voice acting is the highlight and the story is as good as it was in the game, but the movie itself is just decent. Honestly, I recommend playing the game first, much better. I give this one a 6/10. It was okay, might watch it again if I'm bored in the future. Now onto my writing. I'm 1000 words into chapter two, trying to figure and flesh the story out, especially since I added a Sunset Shimmer arc in so three secret agents will be in this fic. Finally, music-wise, I listened to P. Reign's Dear America EP last night. It was quite good. There were some banger tracks, good production, the intro told America to wake up which I agree with because I live here. Some tracks were too sing-songy Drake-type tracks, so I didn't like the entire project, but for an artist I've barely heard of, it was a good first outing. I give it a solid 7/10 with Pay Day being the best track. Welp, daz all folkz. Tune in next week for more insane babblings from yours truly, Fluttashifty.
