Shulk was leaked, so now I have an idea for a new fic. · 6:24pm Aug 26th, 2014
So... I couldn't work around my first idea for Xenoblade/MLP, but thankfully I got a new one.
The inhabitants of Equestria were absorbed into the Bionis prior to the events of Xenoblade Chronicles. It's more or less of a rewrite for Xenoblade's story, with some major elements changed due to the intervention of ponies.
How would I improve on this idea, and what would one like to see in a fic like this?
I actually search for a story like this right now. I don´t know if it would be easy to invole maybe the mechons in Equestria.
I don´t know what you planned to do, but i don´t want it to be just a repeat of the Xenoblade story with Twilight as Shulk or something like that.
I would like it more if maybe you could think of some Villians for Shulk and the Ponys, i want him in Equestria i think. I could like it too if the ponies got in his world but one person to Equestia is maybe more easy than to bring a lot of ponys to well Xenoblades.
ahhh i noticed you did it already, well i give it a try, i wanted to suggest the ....forgot the name (the flying mind reading Dragons, you know like the people who get turned into those at the end of the story.)
PS: If you want to let the end open for a sequel, maybe if they restore his world, it could be actually some kind of dimension next to Euestria. I mean if they restore his world and the world start to exist again, it coul just appeare a few miles next to Equestria and they only can reach it with a ship/boat.

Actually, an open end is my plan for the fic. It would open up an entire verse where Equestria and the Bionis would be fused together, creating a whole bunch of possible new situations. I hope that didn't spoil anything for you...
2420481 no actually that convinced me to read more. It is not that i wasn´t liking your story, i just have my advantages, but with an open end it is maybe even better. I mean a romance, another adventure, everything can happen. Maybe you should make it that way, that Ricky break up with his wife and end up with Fluttershy in the next story.
well it don´t have to be a romance, but i want that there are always two of each ponys and Xeno´s^^ which are best friends.
Like Shulk and Twilight, Fluttershy and Ricky, Rainbow and....either Rayn or Dunban.
Applejack and...Rayn or....Sharla? Rarity and...Shalra or Melia? Pinkie and Fiora.....or Ricky?
I just have fun to think about it right now, it is the first fanfic i found about exactly this.
At first i had to to accustom to the bright colors of the game, somehow that were strong colors for my eyes the first time. Then i got stucked at Mechonis Chore the first playtrough, i didn´t knew where i had to go anymore
After that i played it again, tried to get many quests done at least those i could finish in the first playthrough. I have to say that the game was getting more awesome in the second half, of the second half 3/4 if you know what i mean

I know exactly what you mean. Plus, the friend pairings are like this so far:
Shulk and Twilight (Chosen by destiny and are avid bookworms? Why wouldn't they be best interdimensional friends?)
Applejack and Fiora (Reyn before the events of Galahad Fortress, since they both are stubborn. With Fiora, it would be like a big sis little sis duality they would share.)
Rainbow Dash and Sharla (They both are very loyal to their people.)
Spike and Dunban (Dunban could be a mentor to Spike and would edge him in the correct path, since he would fear that his draconic nature would make him become like Mumkhar.)
Rarity and Melia (Both are magical and high-class. Both hold family close to them.)
Fluttershy and Riki (Well, Fluttershy would like all the Nopon, but she would get to know Riki the most. She also babysits all his littlepon and even feeds them for free.)
Pinkie Pie and Reyn (They both love having a good time.)
And, yes, that was an awesome twist (even if I didn't like what it did to the world). I actually have an additional twist to that twist.
