Where to start? My YouTube reading for Kiss of the Dark has been finished for almost a month now, and I'm sure you're all wondering what I've been doing since then and why the next reading isn't up yet. And I'm sure you're also wondering about my progress on said reading. So let's start chronologically, shall we?
The day after I uploaded the final part of Kiss of the Dark, I went on a short vacation. "Where to?" you may ask. Remember how I told you guys that I have a girlfriend I met on BronyMate?
Well, we saved up so I could fly out to see her in person. It was a lot of fun, and we really enjoyed each other's company (if you know what I mean).

After I came back from my memorable escapade, I quickly sat down and recorded the next story and have been editing since. Between my job at Bed Bath & Beyond and school having started up last Thursday, I haven't gotten to do as much editing as I would like.
So. Progress? I have the next reading, Purely Scientific Interest, and the reading after it, Ghost Nappa Haunts a Unicorn, completely recorded, and Purely Scientific Interest is about a third of the way through with editing. So all in all, I'm making decent progress.
Unfortunately, however, I need to put said good progress on pause.
Why?
Because I need to work on my 800 Sub Special!
I really don't want to postpone yet another sub special, so I really need to get it up within the next week.
Wait... Next week? Why the big hurry?
Because 800 subs isn't the only thing I'm celebrating...
That's right. September 4 is my channel's One-year Anniversary!
Okay, well technically, I posted my first video on August 22, and therefore my anniversary was four days ago...but I'm going to go with my first ever reading as opposed to my first ever video because that's when people actually started watching.
And I want to share it with all of you.
So, in summary:
I'm putting the readings I'm working on "on hold" for now until I get all of this celebration stuff done.
I'm going to try to get the sub special up before September 4.
And on September 4, we will all decide what we're going to do to celebrate our one year together. I'm going to throw out a few ideas, both on the channel and in a blog post, and you all will get to vote on what we do.
And then I'll continue editing when I can and the readings will be uploaded sometime after.
