Okay, I can kind of understand my mom here, but I think she is overreacting... · 9:25pm Aug 22nd, 2014
So, I asked if I could get a new softairgun (electric rifle, I knew I coundn't get a AK47 or something) so I asked for a 0.5 meter SMG, (buy it for my own money) the first thing she said was that the neighbors would be scared and the police would come and shoot me if I pointed the gun at them... like, she thought I'd actually point a softairgun at the police, who are armed with real guns? Really? *sigh* My parents really thinks I'm an idiot...

I get that a lot. Despite getting some of the best grades in the most advanced classes in a grade above what I'm supposed to be in. I think we'll both survive.
2392263 Parents, you have to be the best, and they compare you to better people... my parents compare my grades to theirs, and since you have to learn a lot more now, and have more distractions, it's pretty hard to get better grades than them...
2392274 That's never really been a problem for me, but whenever I get a relatively low grade, my mother gets rather angry. I'm glad it doesn't happen often.
Me and my brother loved playing with our soft air guns when we were like 13, untill i shot him in the eye with a pellet.
And yes, they think you're that stupid; because video games have rotted your brain and you live in a fantasy action world where you kill stuff all the time.

Why would you want a sniper rifle? What are you looking at using it for? Sniper rifles are generally used to kill people, whereas you'd want a hunting rifle for hunting. Full auto is good, but I think you should go for a semi first. If you're using an AS rifle, then going over to an FA weapon could be too much of a leap. Recoil and all.
2393845 I think I can handle the recoil... and I would probably just fire plastic bullets, mostly because I would go and play airsoft, DMR would probably be better than bolt-action, and I'm still talking about soft air guns here... I wouldn't buy a real sniper, if anything, I would buy a small gun, like a M1911 or something...

If you were talking about airsoft guns, you need to say that. Don't just say "sniper", I'm talking real guns. Airsoft guns are really easy to get a hold of, I have a drum magazine LMG and a shotgun, alongside two support rifles, a sniper and five pistols.

but I was at a shooting-range for CO2 rifles... I hit a target that had about the same size as a eye 99% of the times, from 10 meters. (sitting) but if I get real guns, I will have to hide it from my parents and I would decorate them with brony stuff... but I don't think I could get my hands on something bigger than a handgun or a hunting rifle tho, and I would have to register it and stuff... maybe I'll just find a shooting-range somewhere and have some fun there...

I was scouted for the military, because when I was an army cadet, I set a record the longest shot achieved by a sixteen year old in my county; 837m. I can get myself just about any gun thanks to owning private land. As for decorating a gun... ehhhh...
2393861 That is impressive, I would probably not be able to do something like that since my vision is pretty much ruined (I can't go to school without glasses, I can't see anything on the whiteboard without them) But think, a M1911 fully decorated with brony stuff would be pretty hilarious, win a competition with that... just priceless. The only thing I have achieved might be youngest kid to be through a certain surgery...
