So, little bit of background. When I was younger, I had horrible snoring and sleeping issues. So when I was about 7, I had my Adenoids removed. Not uncommon, but, and here's the thing, the doctor I went to at the time was of the "don't remove it unless you have to" school of thought, so despite already being under and this being the perfect time, my Tonsils were not removed.
Fast forward to today, and guess what? Tonsils are acting up, I have a cyst. Nothing life threatening, but definitely irritating. Enough so that I'm planning to have my Tonsils removed in the near future. So, I suppose the moral of this story is twofold.
1) Tonsils and Adenoids are both useless organs that only serve to irritate a person.
2) Because of that, if you ever have kid for the love of God have the damned things removed so they don't have to deal with this shit.
