Idea: Pony Suicide Squad
Release date: Soon, but only after more brainstorming is done (which you all can help with!)
Half-parody of the DC comic universe team known as the suicide squad. Anyone who knows about DC comics (Superman, Batman, etc) and/or Arrow, your input is greatly appreciated and needed. For those who don't already know, the Suicide Squad is basically a team of villains put together to make up for their crimes through a series of near-impossible missions that have high risks of death. I'd be parodying it mostly, but still looking for ideas (as well as a better name).
Currently I'm thinking of having Luna in charge (the Amanda Waller) with Trixie, Sunset Shimmers, Discord, Flim and Flam, Lightning Dust, and Gilda on it at different points (given the...nature of the team), but ideas for other members would be nice in addition to any other ideas you guys have.
Also debating having it loosely tie into We Remember Everything, but I need thoughts on that. I know how I could do it, I am just curious what people think about that. Don't have a cover image for this yet, so I'll also need to hold off on that until I can figure something out. Again, ideas would be very welcome!
Idea: Android 16 in Equestria
Release date: Whenever Dragonball Z Abridged has the Android 16 vs. Cell fight
This will be a simple, not too long one-shot where Android 16 from Dragonball Z winds up in Equestria with a bit of brain damage. Fluffy, with hints of sadness, but mainly fluffy and fun. Already acquired a cover image and permission to use it, so at least that's out of the way. I got the script mainly done, but because of the special way it is done it will require a lot of editing before it is fit to publish. Hard to type out a robot's POV after all.
Idea: System Shock Pony
Release date: Whenever I manage to finish my second playthrough of System Shock 2
Take my favorite horror game, have gamer Luna play it, then have her dream about it when she sleeps and you get this story! That's the basic idea I have for it so far, and I've even set up a table where I list what character will be the equivalent of what other character, but the actual writing needs to be done. It would help to have a transcript of the game to go off of, but still working on finding that. Got a cover image and permission for this as well, but much work needs to be done before I can get it really up and running. Thoughts would be appreciated, as it is still in the brainstorming phase.
Any thoughts on any of these things would be much appreciated from you dear readers! I hope to hear from you, and please let me know what you think!
The new animated Batman Arkham movie is about the suicide squad, so you might want to watch that as 'research' if you haven't already.

Actually one of my favorite movies of all time now. If only they didn't kill off King Shark (or change him as much as they did from the comics) I'd be even more in love with it. The Killer Frost/Shark bits were so adorable!

Because if it's going to be basically just regular Suicide Squad but a bit lighter, than I'm going to have different suggestions than if this is going to be a completely random/adorable fic. And yeah, the Arkham movie was great. I felt the show was stolen by the Joker, but then the Joker's probably one of my favourite characters in all media.
2393018 It's only going to be like 25% silly, much like Equestria in general, but it's still going to have some of the more dark aspects of the squad. Case and point, one or more ponies won't be coming back from the first mission
Still in the brainstorming stage for everything so it's hard to put a direct estimate on the silly amount. I want it to be more serious but have a comedy bent to it, kinda like the movie we're talking about. 
Joker stealing the show is how Batman Arkham Origins went, so it's hardly new for him to do something like that...I just wish it hadn't happened. I liked the level of joker's involvement the first 40 minutes, where he is just there to annoy Harley, but Joker pays the bills for the creators so I guess it's fine and all to have him. 30 more minutes of the team being able to do their thing and have character development would have been nicer for me though than 30 minutes of him stealing the show.
2393654 Well, being that Equestria probably doesn't have brain chips since it's in an at least slightly earlier time period, maybe Luna could use a type of ancient forbidden mind magic that does the same thing.
As for other members, maybe a changeling that left/was left behind by Chrysalis.
You'll have to weaken Discord somehow though, since regularly he'd be approximately 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times as strong as the rest of the suicide squad combined. They'd have skills he doesn't, probably, but with his raw power there usually wouldn't even be a need for another other skills.

A Changeling could work. Be interesting to have them be a spy/infiltrator. Just don't want to use an OC...
Chrysalis herself might be fun to use though, especially since she and Trixie have a voice in common 
And yes, I fully intend to find a way to nerf Discord. He needs a huge nerf. I'm thinking that having it so he receives a nerf thanks to his betrayal in the Tirek arc would be good. The Alicorns seem to be able to transfer magic and all, wouldn't be that hard to stretch that they can also take it on some level or at least seal it.

And in the area of other characters, what about Mane-iac? The Mane-iac seems llike she'd have a place in the SS, hell she's certainly crazy enough. Near Harley-crazy. Maybe even Tirek? But then he's another over powered being for a squad such as this. Hell, even Chryssy would work.
I'm more interested in what you're gonna be having in place of the chips to keep them in line. Magic? A little something Luna picks up from Midgard? Whatever shall it be?!

Discord would definitely be nerfed because he would just break everything. Seeing as how Luna (the Waller of the group) is not very fond of Discord in that universe, I don't think it would be far fetched to have her take Discord's power away (or at least most of it).

Mane-iac is currently only in the comic book in that one place, but given the nature of it all I could just have her leave it and get rounded up to join the team. And Harley is more sane than Mane-iac by a large margin
Tirek is too uncontrollable. He'd be kept in Tartarus for safekeeping. Chrysalis, however, I have been considering adding at some point, though I'd likely add her after we've lost one or two of the original lineup

2399602 Discord would definitely be nerfed by about 98-99%, bringing him down below like a regular Unicorn's level of power. Luna would never allow him to just do as he pleased. As Amanda Waller once said "No one fucks with the wall!", and in this case it'd be "No one fucks with the moon!"
Speaking of which, I might want to make the moon a special prison, one under Luna's control...
Mane-iac is a go then, just gotta work her into it later on.
Someone also suggested I use some of the Rainbow Rocks villains on the team. I think I can do that, provided that they would be D-list members and complete cannon fodder.

You are quite correct about Discord being funny, along with Trixie. Trixie's personality will be a bit like Frost (who was my favorite character from the movie), but we won't have a monster on the team just yet. She'll have an assistant for that inter-species romance kind of deal
I'll do my best to make it funny too, as well as sweet 
Discord will be more like Boomerang's humorous side.
Frost/Shark was my absolute favorite part of the entire movie
, and I just regret that this King Shark was uglier than he is in the comics (where he's kinda cute and calls himself Trixie on one occasion). That and him dying. That pissed me off too. Riddler is a genius. He should have known that the electricity needed would be greater

When I watched his head bulge, I thought that maybe Riddler would do a last minute shock and destroy that thing before it goes off but then it went ahead and happened and I just sat there not knowing what expression would best suit the displeasure I felt.

Luna will be considering and creating the Lunar prison soon in We Remember Everything so that it can be in place by the time Tirek is defeated (though not before). Luna in WRE still has her Nightmare side influencing her, so it likely won't be a cozy place for the scum and villains of Equestria, and if they want out they can join her special task force/squad
Frost was so snarky and funny that I couldn't help but love her. I wish she appeared in the comics as well, since King Shark features heavily there (and, as I said, is far cuter there in an ugly-cute kinda way). Her survival in the movie is vague, since the car she was in exploded, but Joker survives being dropped off a building in a helicopter that explodes violently so it's unclear whether or not she's dead
I'd have actually liked to see them both survive so that their cute relationship could continue after, but of course this is Suicide Squad and we cannot have nice things 
Precisely why Discord will be taking over that role. We got the leader (Trixie), the brains (Flim and Flam), the second in command (Sunset), the brute (Gilda/Lightning Dust), and the specialized team member (Discord). Not everyone is going to be on the team at the same time, with members replacing deceased ones and whatnot, but that is a rough cast for now
The thing about Shark dying is that at first it tries to make sense: his skin is thicker, so of course it wouldn't effect him as well as the others! But his skin being thicker shouldn't really do that...correct me if I'm wrong, but you can be electrocuted equally well if you are thick skinned or not, especially at electricity levels that high. So it tries to make sense, but it doesn't to me in the end
Riddler really ought to have thought of something beforehand. He's not Batman's smartest villain for nothing after all. I actually respect Nigma, so him being so dumb here in this one way makes me baffled. And poor Killer Frost
...she seemed actually pissed off after Shark died. I bet she wouldn't have betrayed all the others later on if he hadn't died, given their relationship (or at the very least would have done so WITH him).
When he died I felt so sad...it came as an extreme whiplash from the extremely sweet scenes that preceded it, which is half why I think they did it. Trolling creators. I just like skipping everything past the bridge scene right up until Deadshot kicks Joker's ass and aims at Waller

I know! I love snarky characters. I say she lives. They left it vague enough that I say she lives. if Joker can survive that shit, Frosty can survive a damned car. Even if the creators were to say she died, I'd throw a shoe at them and deny it.
That's a good cast. It works rather well, I think I'm going to enjoy their little shenanigans.

These writers didn't think this through. Nigma would definitely have taken Shark's abilities and physique into consideration before shocking him like that, and yeah, I doubt Frost would've acted better if Shark was there seeing as she did seem to get rather attached to him and vice versa.
The movie did surprise me with the very mild swearing and everything because I wasn't expecting that

But yeah, if Joker can live through far worse while actually being wounded, Killer Frost can survive her explosion. In fact, in some series heat actually can boost her powers reportedly as she converts it into extreme cold. So Imma say she lives on that one.
As for throwing shoes, want to borrow both of mine? Just in case you need to keep throwing them at them for being hypothetical meanies.
Luckily the thing about the cast is that it has this nice ever changing dynamic because of how the team always is swapping members in and out. It'll be fun to operate with that
Too bad he can't regenerate his head...but anyways, I just researched it, and if electrocution goes through the skin (as in organs/inside stuff) it leaves less marks on the skin itself. If thick skin resists it though, then the skin is what gets damaged. Seeing as how Shark displays no signs of skin damage, then that means the electricity either had NO effect (he felt it, so it can't be this) or it penetrated the skin and went into him just like the others. He is also likely the wettest out of the group with how his face got frozen and how he was in water, which also helps conduct electricity. So his skin being thick is countered by this other stuff
Just wish the writers tried to take the logic past the first step, and also had Nigma continue to be smart

The movie surprised me too, but it was in a good way. These characters are villains. They shouldn't be goody goody two shoes with their language and actions

I agree with you fully on Frost and Shark. A different version of Frost (since Louise Lincoln, the one in Assault on Arkham, is the second one after her friend, the original, died) has appeared in the live action show Arrow. Hasn't become Killer Frost yet, but we can hope! (Since she has to die to inspire the second one to take revenge.)

Arrow is very good and has actually brought my interest back to the DC universe after it had previously been lost due to the New 52. Now I'm finding more things to enjoy now that the list of characters I like and can follow has been increased with Arrow. Case and point, I didn't really care for Deadshot before, but now I really like him because of how his character is portrayed in Arrow (honorable assassin who does his work to support his daughter).

You should try to start watching it again. Season three comes out in about 5 weeks, so you have plenty of time to get through it all! Season one is on Netflix, and I'm sure the second season will be up in the relatively near future. You could also find some episodes online, like on the CW's website.
