I have been thinking, and not sure if it's a thing or not but I noticed that the fillies like Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo have 3 white spots in there eyes compared to the main ponies like Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash. I'm wondering if it's an age thing or not since Granny Smith only has the one.
Maybe I'm over thinking it... also Babs only has two. I heard a theory from someone else a while back that suggested life changing trauma might affect the amount of white glints in the eyes. Which if it is by age, makes her older then Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara, plus the CmC who have three.
That's a good idea..the white marks in the eyes do follow back generations..i think it has to do with innoscence...the cmc are. pretyy innocent .babs lived in manrhaytan maybe she's doen baf things and the.mane 6 maybe haf a rough past so they lose innoscence. dunno..

Hmm true... so that either leaves.. traumatic event, which is actually possible with Trixie, and Babs... or artistic choice and I'm over thinking things

Trauma is a possibility as Chrysalis also has only 1 glint, that being said Princess Luna and Celestia both have 2 glints and if trauma is the cause then shouldn't they both have 1?
In all honesty I think it's just Artistic design to make the character stand out more among others.

But your probably sometimes Pinkie has 3, sometimes she has 2. Though most foals have three outside of Babs. I know Noi has three.

Course... there is Twilight Time, when it had a lot of Colts and Fillies, which kind of throws things around. Course Colts themselves I think are different in general. But some of the fillies have 2, even Scootaloo and Apple Bloom have two in this shot here.

Not really as in most of the shots the mane 6 have one..trixie is roughly their age..

Really? Hmm in most screen caps I've seen them with at least two a large one and a smaller one. Might have to review a few episodes, maybe re-watch like Ultra Fast Pony since it's pretty much clips of season 1 & 2 and see.
