A rundown about my writing, sequels and other plans.

Regarding Pledging your Pie, I'm having problems writing on it. The story doesn't seem to want to go where I want it to go... The inspiration monkey has stopped tickling me, so to speak. So I will down prioritize it and write other stuff while I wait for the monkey to jump me again.

Ruined Pledging Your Pie Chapter 2.

Have been sick all day, and generally felt awful. And like a fucking idiot I wrote chapter 2 and posted it. A rushed awful mess that was not even close to a comedy. So now I took it down. And I will rewrite it all. If anyone read it... I am sorry.

Procrastinated my writing and made a pmv instead.

Title says it all. I swear, soon enough every band will have at least one song as a pmv.

It was a lot of fun to make.

Starswirl and the Purple Terror will be delayed a bit.

It's much harder to write all of a sudden... and I am going away this weekend. So don't hold your breath. :P

A rundown about my writing, sequels and other plans. · 11:11am Aug 13th, 2014

Regarding Pledging your Pie, I'm having problems writing on it. The story doesn't seem to want to go where I want it to go... The inspiration monkey has stopped tickling me, so to speak. So I will down prioritize it and write other stuff while I wait for the monkey to jump me again.

You must understand that all the stories I have written so far, have all been practice for the real story I want to write. Three months ago, back in may, I read a fanfic for the first time, Fallout Equestria. For the first time in my life I was inspired to actually create something. I wanted to tell a story like that. But I had never written a story before, especially not in English, so I needed to practice. Ta ta! Operation Daybreak was born. Writing it, I realized a lot about myself and the English language in general. I had no patience for the buildup and the small talk. I just wanted to write the juicy stuff right away and not look back. Anyway, like an idiot I thought myself ready to write THE story now. Fallout Equestria: Darkstar But there were a number of problems with it, the biggest being that I had no idea where I wanted to story to go. So I soon found myself stumped. Realizing that I needed to plan the story out from the beginning. Using my best idea, I began planning and mapping out a new THE story while I wrote small stories on the side for practice and fun.

That brings us to Starswirl and the Purple Terror. To my shock, it got featured and turned into a huge success. With something like 30 comments on each chapter, I will admit... it went to my head a little bit. I was basically walking on clouds for a while. All the attention also seemed to affect the inspiration monkey, as it went positively insane. Anyway, the time came to end it, and I think I did a pretty good job if it. A lot of people asked for a sequel, which is a clear sign of a good ending, or at least I hope so. I could write a sequel... but the inspiration monkey is gone. The previous story had a clear overarching story with a clear ending. Without those traits I am afraid to write... what if I fuck up the whole story by writing a shitty sequel? Well, if I find the inspiration to write it. It would have to be from Twilight's point of view. I would probably also take Sorrowfulwinds suggestion and call it Twilight Sparkle and the Bearded Menace.

Finally... what am I doing now? I am writing on THE project. Might be a little early... but I have been itching to write it all summer. I'm forcing myself to focus on the build up and not rush trough everything, and hopefully it will turn out to be my best work yet. Also, I intend to find an editor, I won't let poor grammar ruin this.

I thirst, I hunger! You know not what flames you've kindled in my belly nor do you realize the great danger you create for yourself. What you have done is not satisfy, or nullify, my appetite, but rather you hath wet it. You will rue the days you did not write the sequel, for those are the days that will haunt you and hound you. You will never find peace, you will never find resolution! The day will come when you realize your folly, and you will weep. your world will burn in nasty PMs and nagging fan-mail! But this need not come to pass. Write the sequel. Damn the monkey and eat his brains! You've written a masterpiece before, there is NOTHING that can stop you from doing it again but yourself! Don't stop! NEVER STOP! Trust me, friend. heed my words. The gods crave a romantic comedy, and you turn their eyes upon you. Do not dissapoint the gods, lest they down-vote all of your other stories without even reading them.

Seriously though Valdimar nearly everyone wants a sequel to this story! I would say i want it even more than most due to some of the characters you used; like starswirl for example! Almost no one can or even knows how to make a good story with him in it, but look what you've done! You sir have created a fanfiction that should be known across the MLP fandom (in my opinion :p). SO WE THE VIEWERS DEMAND A SEQUEL TO YOUR AMAZING STORY! Good day- SIR!

I like where you're going with the different perspective thing. Honestly, your story with Starswirl is pretty good. I'd love to see side stories of it, though not necessarily a sequel. I wish Clover the She-demon got a little more screentime. Such an adorable little monster.

And I hope you meant "Bearded Menace," right?

Is Bearded Menace still in production? or has it passed quietly in its sleep? :unsuresweetie:

So are you going to continue the sequel to my favorite story now or?
