End of book two! · 4:37am Aug 4th, 2014
I'm just coming to the end of my second book. The publication of the last couple chapters will happen over the next few days.
I'm very happy with the way this has all come together and I'm excited to start working on the third volume of the trilogy. I'll probably take a few days off before I really get into the grind again. I already have the plot laid out in general terms - so it shouldn't be too difficult to get going on it.
I just wanted to thank everyone again for the great feedback I have received. I hope the story has been entertaining and that i haven't been too crazy in my portrayal of the characters and the plot.
With all the general nonsense I see around the site - most of which seems to come with the "gore", "sex", or "crossover" tags, I hope that I can stay true to the characters that drew me into this fandom in the first place. I want to stay true to that going into my third installment, but also expand in a direction that I feel the show would logically have gone had they followed the story I have written to this point. I still appreciate your feedback and hope that if you have come to enjoy the story so far, you won't be disappointed with where I take it in the future.
Thanks for coming along for the ride!

Ack, so many stories to read, and I've still got my own begging to be written! I'll be keeping an eye out for your second book. I'm expecting great strides from you, Thornwing.
I couldn't agree more with your stance there. It's odd how far some folks will take these ponies from the origins that originally lured us in. Although I'm not always against crossovers, there are actually a few interesting ones out there. It just takes an incredible amount of effort to keep ponies as, well, ponies when they're up against different universes.
I'm open to questions or if you need another person's take on something specific. Good luck with your writing!

Thanks again - I'll be in touch. I'd like to bounce some of my ideas for my third book off you here in the not-too-distant future. Let me know when you finish reading the second one and we can chat.
