    You guys are the best!

Weeks of awful writers block has been resolved! Late last night I sat down and began to write my first fic in weeks. I submitted it and went to bed, fully expecting the fic to be sent back with some sort of problem in the morning. But, when I woke up, not only had my fic been approved, but it had 10 likes and 4 faves! And it was still on the front page! Thank you all so much for reading! I love

So, who has seen this?

If you didn't get the meme above, let me enlighten you, the last five episodes of Legend of Korra season 3 have been pulled off the air and will only be shown online and on streaming apps. But why would this happen? My gusse is simply this: There is something in the upcoming episodes that is too controversial to air on children TV.

Well, I have a theory as to what this unknown controversy is:

Yup, if I'm right the internet is going to explode. Should be fun. But why do I think this? Let's go over the evidence. (Stay with me here)

We already know that kid shows are heading in this direction, we have the heavily implied relationship between Marcy and Bubblegum in adventure time:

And of course we have the lesbian relationship on Disney's good luck Charlie:

Next we have Sam and Cat. A Nick show. You see there were rumors circulating claiming that the creator of the show, in response to the changing times in US politics, were going to release an episode in which Sam and Cat (Two girls) got together and became girlfriends. Shortly after these rumors came out, the show was cancelled.

So now we're left with Legend of Korra. A show with a huge fan base that has gone on 2 seasons longer then it was originally intended. LOK has nothing to lose, they can do whatever they want, and if they get pulled off the air...well, the fans will demand blood. It's also been approved for a fourth season set to air next year. LOK has gotten into some pretty deep situations and is much darker then most kid shows on today. Further, the makers have been putting two characters together an awful lot lately, Korra and Asami. (BTW they have the cutest chemistry!)

Fans have been shipping the couple together since Asami showed up in the show. Now, we know the makers of LOK not only listen to their fans, but also know all of the ships. Take this official non-fanmade short called School Time Shipping. It was made by the LOK creators in reference to their old show Avatar the Last Airbender:

So, if you put all of this together, the truth becomes clear. Avatar fans, prepare yourself, the ship war is coming. I'll bring the popcorn.

So tell me what you think in the comments below. Will the changing times effect other kids shows? Are they effecting this one? Or am I just a crazy chick babbling about cartoons at midnight? When do you think the first gay couple will show up in MLP? I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

Wow! A lot of my friends will be happy to hear it's not cancelled! Some of them were really freaking out about it XD I've never really seen the show, I would have never guessed that there was this kind of controversy in it. I used to watch the original Avatar, but I think my hopes and dreams were shattered after the movie XD I haven't quite recovered.

Anyways I think it's great to see more shows exploring this "touchy subject". I hope to see it more on television! As for mlp... Well I can always keep my fingers crossed for Lyra X Bon Bon :D

2318879 Me too, note that all of the above is pure speculation and hoping. It mostly got taken off the air because the show was badly advertised. But I can only hope that this is what is really going on. But let's face it, I'm probably wrong. :facehoof: Wrote this at midnight :twilightblush:

2318879 But yes, the show wasn't cancelled, it will still be shown on Nick.com on fridays.

2318926 my friends tell me that LOK is better than the original show, what do you think? Is this true?

2318939 ...:trixieshiftleft::trixieshiftright: Yes and no.

Season one is pure nostalgia, you just want to hug the creators for bringing the show back. It's really good but a touch more adult the AtLA. The show itself was only meant to air for one season and act as a little wink to the audience to say hey guys everything worked out in the end! This season was good, not as good as the original, in my opinion, but good.:rainbowkiss:

Buuut, fans wanted more.:twistnerd:

Season 2 was unplanned and sloppy. Because season 1 was such a huge hit, nick ordered a second season and gave the creators barely any notice before they did. Season 2 had to have two major selling points:
1) Be entertaining enough to hold an audience
2) Have a story line that is completely wrapped up by the end of the season, but leave off an an ambiguous note that can spawn another season if needed.
At this point the creators were more or less lost, they had no idea how long they were going to be making shows. Nor did they have any idea what nick was going to have them do next. And worst of all they were a little bit out of ideas in general. Well I did enjoy the second season, it was nowhere as good as the first however, it was better then anything on nick at the time, trust me on that. But the entire season was a mess. :facehoof:

But the mess was good enough to spawn the orders for a 3rd and a 4th season. At this point I was scared. :applecry:

But boy were my fears wrong. 2 more seasons is all the show would have, then it was done. So it was go time. :rainbowdetermined2:

With a definite end date and a secure future the makers were able to forge ahead, telling a beautiful fantastic story that is every bit as good as the original! It's peppy dark and fantastic! I recommend the series itself very highly. It's great! :yay:

You'll have to sit through season 2, which is still fantastic by tv standards, but when you get to season 3, it will all be worth it! I love the show myself. You should give it a try.

2318991 well I'll have to give it a try sometime :D maybe once I'm finished with Game of Thrones!! (Best freakin' show ever!!!)

2319002 I haven't gotten to GoT yet. My mum just declared me old enough to watch that stuff. I want to get through true blood before I start GoT.

2319002 BTW, did you like my rage comic? :twilightsheepish:

2319017 oh man!! It's SOOOOO GOOD!
The thing about it is the people that the show focuses on! They are just brilliantly well done and their story's are incredibly intricate and entertaining!! Most times there's about 7 or 8 different stories being told at one time!!

My friend and I have a test of whether or not a show is good, and that is if they can make a scene where nothing happens and have it still be entertaining!! Game of Thrones not only passed this test, it did it so well that he and I didn't realize that it had passed until about 3 days after we watched it!!

And the world that it is set in is just so amazing! It's a dark and deadly world, but it's done in a way that is just so enthralling, that I'm just completely engrossed in it! It reminds me of all the things I liked about Fallout: Equestria!!

Overall, it's amazing!!! My friends and I are huuuge movie and film critics... Yet we actually cannot find one thing wrong with the show!! (Other than it might not be appropriate for all viewers) perfect 10/10! I highly recommend it :D

2319019 and yes!!! Very well done :D

2319069 Cool, I'll start watching tonight then, I have every episode of season 1 on my computer.

2319229 oh wow! You're all set then :D
