Well, this has been a long time coming. Three hundred and fifty-one days (351) to be exact. In that time, some things have changed, others haven't.
Firstly, I'm still alive. The twelve weeks I took off turned into something closer to forty—for various reasons, some of which even hold water. I'm still writing, in my slow, plodding way, and I still plan to finish The Moon Also Rises, as well as other side-projects I'd been teasing about. That is perhaps the only commitment I want to make at the moment. TMAR will be completed . . . eventually.
I've also changed my name here, from Preservation to Nicroburst. Both are sourced from Sanderson's wonderful Mistborn trilogy, and the switch is in order to bring various online accounts I hold under the same banner. For example, should you encounter a Nicroburst on the League of Legends OCE server, that'd be me.
I have built up a small backlog of chapters, but I won't detail any schedule for their release. I'm currently in my third year of university, and semester begins in four days. It is entirely possible that, me being my usual unorganised self, I become swamped with work that takes precedence over meeting any commitments here. However, to the best of my ability, I'll try to make regular updates a thing.
I plan to be more opaque in the future, so my blog will, for the most part, be silent.
