So, Why Horse Porn?

Because I seem to like blogging in the middle of the night with about a pint and a half of beer in me, and because someday, when I'm famous across FIMfiction, inquiring minds will want to know.

I like to think that, like me, everyone started out with an aversion to colorful cartoon ponies bucking each other's brains out. This probably isn't the case. Aside from maybe one or two other people, I haven't seen many others who had an aversion to horse porn and overcame it, like me... instead, I see people with an aversion to horse porn that aren't likely to change their stance anytime soon.

My girlfriend never seemed to have any problem with pony sex, but I always thought she was kinda a perv and she sexualizes many things... Rule 34 kinda applies to her in some ways. She doesn't really have any problem with foalcon while I still think Scootlaoo x Rainbow Dash is kinda squicky, but she's been at the shipping game for a long time.

So have I.

Or so I thought.

I'm gonna age myself a little here. I've been participating in fandom since Sailor Moon, which was the first anime I was really into. I read fanfiction. I participated in forum debates. It took me a long time to start seeing my favorite ship (Uranus x Neptune) in any kind of sexual light.

I've been reading fanfiction since I was 13-14, and started reading "lemons," which was the term then for fics with descriptive sexual content about then.

It was hard for me to think of my childhood heroines in any kind of sexual light. In fact, that happened with a few of the shows I grew up watching.

My Little Pony... who would really think of putting characters in a children's show like My Little Pony in sexual situations?

A lot of people, as it turns out.

At first, I was like, 'why would you do that?!' but I'm a pretty open-minded person. I didn't think these people needed psytriatiatc help, or that they fantasize about fucking candy-colored ponies, but I just couldn't see my ponies, my friends in that kind of light.

My girlfriend was all like, 'Come on in! the water's fine!'

And I'm all like, 'No thank you!'

Interestingly enough, at least the way I see it, right about when I started accepting Twilestia was when I ran into Cloperella and her 'Princess Molestia Chronicles.' (links to be added when I'm sober) heck, I didn't even like the Molestia meme.

OMG, that was some hot shit. Then, not only did I accept pony sexuality, I started thinking, 'hey, pony porn is hot,' and even more surprising, Celestia is hot... I'd tap that flank. >/////>

Now that I've read some other great clop, I actually think 'Rella is almost amateurish by comparison, but I still greatly enjoy her work.

I'd really like to hear how others discovered they thought clop was hot. Did you start out with that? Did you, as I did, initially have qualms about it? Let me know!
