Previews anyone?

Well, obviously it has been awhile since Infinity's End updated and I keep hoping to increase productivity, but, life happens. So I thought maybe it would be neat to post a juicy little preview for anyone who might be interested, never done one before so we'll see how it goes. Mainly just trying to prove we are still working on it, not that it needs proving of coarse... Any way, here you go.

Infinity's End chapter eleven, A Nightmares Nightmare. Unedited.

Face held impassive, Tillook looked on as the screams continued from below. “Decline my right to play a role, and chaos will be the least of your problems, friend. Or has the last millennia dulled you into truly believing in these, champions of yours?” Not bothering to so much as turn his head the question practically fell from his mouth, the accusation blatant and thick in the night air.
“My belief, Tillook, is that they truly possess the power to end this conflict, once and for all,” his gaze hardened further as another scream from the night princess reached his ears, causing him to shudder as he fought the desire to race to her aid. “Despite what Infinity has written.”
“Ah yes, that,” Tillook all but sneered as he cracked a knuckle casually. “A rather terrible ending for all of you, as I recall,” he said, watching the owl in his peripheral vision. “I shudder just thinking about the ending of such innocence, when it could so easily be avoided,” he turned to look at Owlovard again, expression becoming surprisingly serious. “And what of yourself, old friend. What horrible demise awaits you, at the end? Surly nothing so terrible as Magic.”
“My fate, Tillook, shall be no different than those I observe,” Owlovard inhaled sharply as the queen made her final act in the duel, and Luna fell silent. “Their suffering shall become my own as the world crumbles and burns, all our past sins made manifest.”

Yep, some heavy stuff coming up, you fans better hold onto your hats for the next few installments. Hopefully they wont take as long, but again, life. Hang in there.

P.S. Update on Jake, I just got out of the hospital the other day. Had a massive blood clot removed from my leg so I guess I'm lucky to be alive? They have me on some new antibiotics that taste like rot and burn the body like thermite. They also have the pleasant effect of me needing to stay very near a toilet at all times and in the bed when I'm not sitting on the porcelain throne. Seriously, between the painkillers and antibiotics I can barely stay awake, and when I'm not struggling to stay awake I'm pooping... -Jake
