    For those of you who might be interested in SciFi....

    If you might remember, back in Feb I posted a blog saying I was working on a SciFi fic and in my most recent Blog I said that I had decided to put my previous fic on hold until I had made a good inroad into it.

    Not dead, still writing....

    Just putting that out there. Still working albeit slowly but I haven't lost the passion to work on my stuff, just RL college work soaking up most of my time. ;-;

    In case you may be wondering.

    I have not worked at all on chapter 5, it sits a scant 1957 words. Now before you start asking "Hey! All this time and that's all you've done? I feel I should let you know that I have been working on a competition piece for a group I'm in This One and have been channeling my writers powers (cause i have those)

But not dead, simply on ice.

This was a difficult choice but it's one I feel I have to make. I never really wanted to write LLTQ, at least not first, the reason was because Long Live the Queen was always intended to be a Prequel to a Science Fiction setting I've been working on for a long time but never could think of a way to introduce properly so I decided to create the prequel first as way to introduce the setting I built.

That was a mistake, I had the inspiration to create it but I didn't really want to get into the nitty gritty of making it just yet. The process has been good however and has helped me to better make the true setting into what a want it to be, however in finishing the setting off I've felt my want to write the prequel just...evaporate.

So I've put it on ice while I write out the story I want to write, because honestly if I wrote the Prequel by the time I was done then years would have past and I'm not sure if this site would still exist by then. At least this way I write the story I want to write, even if it'll take forever and a day.

Maybe if I get the story I want out of the way in time and the star that is this Fandom hasn't burnt itself out, then I'll go back to Long Live the Queen.
