Somewhat math rant and story update · 11:30pm Jun 23rd, 2014
I'm out of school, good, but why am I ranting about mathematics? Well, in Dominican Republic, there's a little something, if you don't pass the semester exam, that's called completive, which is what my math teacher sent me to.
Well, to explain my little dilemma, he doesn't know English, mostly. So he makes a horrible mix of instructions, which makes me go mad, and attempting to try two different equations which I obviously studied for. So he fails me (and all of 9th grade), and blames us for not paying attention.
The reason? He gives the review way too late (as in two weeks before the exam), doesn't explain things in English (or in any language I can easily understand), and doesn't take the time to clarify any of the problems. Also the fact that barely anything in his review was on the exam. So, he blames the students for a) not paying attention to his classes, and b) not trying hard enough. Now, how the hay am I gonna explain this to my aunt?
Off with the rant, I must say that the stories will be put in a Gdoc during the summer (or whenever I can). Well, the first few horsewords I wrote was on a book that was banned from school use because of it being multiple subjects long. But, silly me, I left it on a rainy day, and it's rendered unusable, but readable. I'll save it once I become a writer or director for a popular children's show that becomes a subculture in the future.
So, this is your awkward Anita, signing off.
No pic, because it won't let me.
Jeez, Anita. Your life seems to be getting better and better, doesn't it? Good luck with life.
