Have you ever gotten so f*blip*ked over that you wanted them to get hit by a car, and want to be the one driving. · 3:42pm Jun 23rd, 2014
I do. Right now. I was suppose to off at 6am, but I didn't get home till about 10 minutes ago. why, you may ask? Because the guy who was suppose to show up so that I could go home, didn't. Didn't call in and wouldn't answer his phone, even when I called from my personal phone. Now this may not seem like a big deal to some of you, but I was there for a full 12 hours. 10pm to 10am. Thats how long it took for the guy we called in to get there. Oh, and I wasn't the only one who got screwed over in this. VJ, who's a really awesome dude, came in even though he was having crippling pain in his leg. He's also the guy who is one step down from the store manager. Now I was aggitated and tired, VJ was fucking pissed. He was basically jumping from task to task with a scowl on his face, and this guy is usually the nicest guy in the world. He was also telling people that he's now looking for a new morning person. Good I say.
The dude who screwed us over is the guy who got me the job in the first place. I can honestly say he used to be one of my really good friends. He's only a year younger than me, getting married in the fall, has to support himself and his girlfriend, and whole slew of other things I won't go into.
I'll cut this short, even though I want to keep going. This guy has a love hate relationship with VJ. This is also the second time he has done this in his time working there. I won't be surprised if he does get fired. He will rightfully deserve it. I really don't know if he is my friend any more. It may seem drastic to stop being someone's friend over something like this, but thats my decision that I have yet to make. All I know is that he better have a damn good reason.
Dude, fuck him.
If it isn't your best friend from childhood, just do that. There are millions of people that are responsible and nice, just go out.
Also, something like this? Stay in a job for FOUR hours more? You know, you usually wouldn't get paid for it.
Yikes, 12 hours? I don't blame you for being pissed. If someone can't arrive on time and they won't answer their phone, it better be something drastic or his employer is gonna slam down on him hard for that.
