...and it's not great, but I really, really like it.
Basically, I said to myself, "WOW, I really want to write something," went digging through my old folders, and found an incomplete FiM fic. My thought process was as follows: "Gee, this is really pretty good. Why did I ever drop this? What direction was I even going? ...let's polish it, finish it, and post it, and see what happens."
Props to the amazing Goombasa, who is in the process of reading my first ever posted fanfic on the site, Misconception! It's a fabulous reading, and something I never expected to happen to any of my fics - I am honored and touched. Thank you, Goombasa!
I'm in the writing mood, and it's winter break, and I'm out of ideas. I'm toying with the idea of doing another Applejack/Apple Bloom sisterly story, but that's not relevant now. What is relevant is this request:

A few days ago, I wrote a comedy fic. It was funny, it was dramatic, it was over-the-top. It hit all the right buttons for being an entry in the EqD Contest.
Thanks to Fernesh for the prompt of RumbLoo and socks...due to that, I have created this silly little one shot about Scootaloo in denial, Sweetie Belle being adorable, and lots and lots of socks. At the time of this blog post it hasn't been published yet, but here's the link if you guys want a preview.
